Illustrate my wedding! by chrisboyd
I need some help with graphic design for our upcoming wedding. We would like to find our own "look" that we then can re-use in everything from invitations, website, menus and signage.
Style brief: We are going for a simple, yet edgy look. Minimalistic and timeless, yet vivid & fun. (I know, easy, right..?) Most important: The look must visualize the fusion between Sweden & Australia (where we are from). We want it to breath the Scandinavian cool and at the same time have a warm pulse of Australian nature.
Illustration: We would like to have a couple of illustrations done for this. The most straight forward one is a sketch of the Kalmar Castle where we are getting married (see photo).
The rest is a bit more open for suggestions. We would like some sort of nature illustration, incorporating Swedish & Australian nature. Possibly and illustration where the two of us are represented as a deer & a platypus. Could be one 'hero' image with everything incorporated in, or smaller components. We are a very open for suggestions here. See images for a bit of an insight to things we like.
