Use this Bluetooth low energy kit from Cypress: CY8CKIT-042-BLE Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Pioneer Kit
Use the (BLE-) PRoC module, not the PSoC module.
Connect a temperature / humidity sensor to the BLE module, I2C signals on P3.4 / P3.5 (on J2 on the board)
The sensor type has to be: Si7006 (preferred) or HTU21D or SHT21. You can find breakout boards on the internet.
Create an application which controls P3.6 of the PRoC module. This pin has to be pulled low and high according to the controls in the attached Excel workbook.
For that, the PRoC has to be programmed and the existing Excel workbook has to be expanded to communicate with the CySmart USB Dongle over the corresponding API from Cypress.
When the application connects to the device, ALL settings have to be read back and displayed correctly in the Excel workbook.
Regarding the Excel workbook:
- It is (hopefully) self-explaining. Ask, if anything is unclear.
- It takes a few seconds to open.
- The first sheets are either the "Schedule daily" or the "Schedule Monday" ... "Schedule Sunday". This can be changed with the second button on top of these sheets (this only hides some sheets). The switching times of P3.6 can be defined in these sheets.
The other buttons on the "Schedule..." sheets just open other sheets of the workbook.
- Remarks on the other sheets explain their function.
- Basically, you have to insert the Cypress API and the calls into the existing VBA code, but other things like the connection procedure, reading back the states from the BLE peripheral etc. need more expansions. A Windows API and a calling function is implemented in the VBA code, as a demonstration.
Other requirements etc.:
- Implement a password protection to access the BLE peripheral device with three passwords up to 32 bytes:
- A fixed master password
- A fixed password, stored in the flash
- A changeable password, stored in the flash
- Create a short instruction on how to setup the software on the BLE kit (We are familiar with ARM controllers, electronics etc.).
- Do you find things which can be improved? Your suggestions are welcome!
- Write a well Documented C code in Cypress' PSoC creator and in VBA (Excel)

Need a Package label designed. It's going to be roughly on a 4"wide by 3" tall sticker. However I need the source code so it can be resized. There are three links at the bottom to similar items on amazon. The first link you'll see bullet points on their packaging such as microwavable, dishwasher, freezer, stable with little pictures. I do want to incorporate all those bullet points in this design other than the made in canada. Other than that I attached a jpeg of our brand name. Design wise we would like a picture of a food container (one that looks similar to product) with a face and food is getting sucked into it. Use food like vegetables, fruit and meat. If you have any questions please ask. So we need the logo of the brand, Needs to say meal prep containers, have the bullet points and the cartoon container sucking in food. Just not too cartoonish. Try to use real looking food pictures if possible. You can add to it if you want but I need those as a minimum. Do not put anything about size of container, where it's made, quantity of containers.
