I run a Gospel music station that plays Southern to contemporary gospel
( basically slow quartet music to fast choir music.)
I would like a logo that is not to jazzy not to plain, one that can keep my older 50 to 70 crowd present, but will not alienate my 20 to 40 crowd.
Now the cheap way to go is adding a Jesus cross or flying doves to the graphic but I am looking for something else. Maybe just words or perhaps a silhouette of a person being free. Or maybe a nice way to write the letter "R" you decide.

*families are always struggling to find alternative/good options on saving money for college. The point of this article is to give them a few points they didn't think about and pros/cons to topics they thought they knew about.
Points to cover.

Write a few paragraphs on the importance and impact working with this person can add value using a few of the above mentioned key points. See CPR Misc flyers for a few highlights of why and what to expect from working with a professional. Make sure to include that although a certified financial planner is great, they must ALSO be a certified college planner and have training from a college planning organization because these are the planners current on the FAFSA rules, as well as the many other options available.
The key to all savings is, its never too late NOR too early to work with a counselor and to start saving.

I am looking for a simple logo design for a fitness brand. For the moment I am only looking for the logo to go on the products and as such it will be based on the acronyms of the Company's name: Gears Of Greatness. So the logo will be based around the words GOG.
Here is an idea that I had:
-The G's facing each other so it looks symmetrical. (Think of someone flexing their biceps and their shoulders forming the G)
-Incorporate a gear design for the O or elsewhere in the logo (See image to see what I mean by a gear).
-Rectangular in shape
However, it is completely open to other interpretations and your creativity. I am not a creative person so I leave this to those better suited for this with coming up with something better if they can.
Things you can incorporate are body parts (especially a muscular back, yes that's right the back; or shoulders), gym equipment etc, however keep it simple if you do so.
I am looking for creative , yet simple, almost minimalist.
The logo needs to be a vector in either AI or PDF format.
The winner is also likely to get the future project of expanding on the logo in a couple of months to a brochures and designs for the website. (Prize: 90)

I am looking to have a logo made, so I can, in turn, use that logo on a business card as well as a few other promotional items. The catch it, it needs to be very unique, and artistic, while being minimal, clean, and professional looking.
I need my logo to convey a specific vibe or feel. So, the best way to help you understand what I need, I feel, is to just describe what I do, and the image that I am trying to shoot for. More importnatly. the image I am trying to AVOID.
I am a magician. Whatever pre-concived notions you have of magicians, forget it. I don't deal with scarfs, top hats, rabbits. Nothing Stereotypical. Nor do I perform magic for kids. I strictly perform for well dressed, upscale, adults, high-end restaurants, hotels, banquets, and company conventions. So I need to make sure my card does not convey any type of feel that gets a response "You're a magician? Great! my 5-year-old is having a little birthday party with her friends, maybe you can do your little tricks for them" That's not me, or my image.
I am as close to a real mind reader as you can get, a mentalist, I wear a very nice looking suit when I work, I can read minds, I can control people, I can get into their head, I can predict the outcome of situations, I use psychology in my effects. But I am not so serious when I do it. I am a guy people want to hang out with because they know that we could go have a few drinks and I could show them an amazing time. Im the guy they want at their party because I am Fun to be around, classy, professional, the magic and mentalism that I do is TOP NOTCH. If anything, its as real as real magic can get. Im also young enough to have a "cool" factor. With the "in-crowd" and up to date with current fashion.
All that was in hopes to give you an overall feel. I am not a designer, so I can't tell you exactly what I am looking for, but I will attach examples along with some details written below.
I love logos that combine two letters to make a cool Monogram out of the company or persons initials. My two letters would be "DC". (See attached files for examples I like"
Aside from the lettering, I like how some designs incorporate what the person does into the actual design of the logo. For example, lets say there is an eye-care doctor, and their card is The company names Initials, made into a monogram, but in the shape of an eye ball, or in the shape of glasses. So the logo shows what they do, and has their initials. I love that.
I also uploaded a few business cards that I like so you have an idea of what I am going to be doing with the logo, the style of the card I am going to use it for, etc etc.
I also added two pictures of a face, basially like a business card with someone picture on it. The one that says WHITE COLLAR, is the eact type of color theme I am using for my website and overall look. And I may or may not do my business card with a picture of me just like on those two pictures.
If you want some more inspiration for the theme of the magic that I want to portray.. just google "Ellusionist Magic" And scroll through google images. And if you want to get a feel of it in action, hop on youtube and type in "Derren Brown" he is a mind-reader, watch any of his videos and see his upscale, realistic style of magic and mind reading.
Here is a link to a video that gives the con artist, real magic, mind-control type of feel, its a short video. But it will help you get a good sense of what the "mood" is like.
