Hello!
I am in the process of creating a website for my business on WordPress. Before I hire someone to develop the website, I would like to see if I can get some design mock-ups to pass on to the developer.
All pictures should be provided with the winning mockup in a high quality PSD format. The submitter must have the right to give these pictures to us for our use on a commercial website. Specifications such as words, slogans, etc. will be edited by me later. I just need the design mock-up.
I want it simple and modern, hopefully some transparency if possible. I need it to look professional as well, since this will be a business website. That means, simple is not amateur - it must look visually pleasing. I already have logos designed, so it would be great if the colors of this could be compatible with the website's color. I only have a .jpg file of the logo (as well as .pdf, .eps and .ai source files if desired), so it would be great if this could show up as transparent on the website if the background is not going to be white.

It will be a website similar to a translation company for Nordic languages (Norwegian, Swedish and Danish). On the inside, however, it will function slightly different. It will be a site where clients contact through a contact page to request a quote (or this could be as a button on the front page). The site's admin will then send the client over to a compatible translator who will be in charge of the rest. The company, in other words, is more like a communication platform as it will not actually earn money itself.
Essential parts:
- An eye-catching front page which clearly gets the message across, and includes what services are (like on JobAssigner).
- Header with links
- Footer with links + terms of use link
- A "Request a Quote" button on front page
- An "About Us"/"Who Are We?" page which will briefly introduce the company as well as a place that includes a picture of every translator with a short description of them along with credentials, etc.
- A page with services offered and their rates.
- An FAQ page.
- A "Contact Us" page which will have a contact form
