Seeking a logo design for my tax service. I've enclosed a sample design, which incorporates a leaf, however, the leaf does not have to be in both words. I do like it in the G of 'Green' and would also like to see it in a cursive font. Please feel free to include the leaf in both words or just one, play with it, we'll see how it works out. If you decide to enter this contest, I'd like to thank you for your time and creativity! (Prize: 30)

There is a retractable structure design and I need the exact 3d design of this structure. The appearance is not important, only figuring out the exact place of the joints and connections is important for me. Even if you can send me the designs drawn on paper that's good enough for me. I need the information so I can build it in real life. I have attached the video of the structure and that is the only thing I have of it. (Prize: 25)

Design a Logo for an Anthropology themed blogging and networking site by brianpadraig

I am starting a social and cultural anthropology (study of cultures and societies) themed blogging website and I am looking for a simple logo design. An example of a logo that I like is the American Anthropology Association's logo (http://s3.amazonaws.com/rdcms-aaa/files/production/public/PageLayoutImages/logo.png though obviously don't copy that), something that is simple in design, that maybe in some ways evokes the roots of anthropology (which traditionally studied small scale tribes, villages, so-called 'non-modern' societies though today it studies all societies and tries to avoid some kind of idealized primitive narrative) but also shows a modern look in a theme of connectedness of different peoples, societies, and cultures (ie symbolizing networks, the world, etc) The site's initials are "A V" for "Anthro-Voices" but the logo does not necessarily need to incorporate those letters or the name, but it may be nice. A theme relating to Anthropology and to "Voice" may be good, I just don't have the right kind of creative mind to think how to properly express that. I have a small budget, unfortunately. If the budget is too small you can message me and I can consider something more if I really like the logo, but I'm not able to pay too much for it. (Prize: 20)

Hello, I'm looking for a mockup of a single web page targeted on smart phone display (iphone, android,...). CONTEXT: - we are building a mobile webapp based on ionic. Ie we are using HTML, SASS, CSS - we are looking for a design for just a single page out of that webapp. Other pages will be follow up projects - we require HTML, CSS knowledge WHAT? - timeline page - display history of events on the screen. Events are basically customer reviews of products with rating of 1-5 where 4 & 5 is good 3, is avg and 1,2 is negative - display events with some basic info. User can click on event and will get to detail screen (detail page not part of the deliverable) - user can filter "all" or "negative" - example data attached ASK: - we are looking to transfer the technical prototype into a "cool" design. But at the same time keeping in mind the small phone screen. - Maybe some nice parallax background?Timeline should have an "ah" effect but still should be usable OUTPUT - design mockup in HTML, SASS, CSS - use attached test data for the mockup - provide a static html + css file (no need for dynamic filtering etc, we do the coding) - provide code and and required image files - provide a screenshot of the HTML page - provide hourly rate for follow projects (Prize: 200)

8 Things - Colocation Article by cseveylmracer77

I am looking for a vendor neutral article that we can post on our website that gets readers to think about and consider colocation services. I would expect the document to be 750+ words. For those unfamiliar with colocation, it's quite simply the idea of placing IT equipment in a large data warehousing facility designed to support many customers. It's essentially real estate services specifically for IT equipment. I have broken it up into 8 sections, however I am open to new ideas or changing sections around if you feel something was missed or it helps the flow of your writing. Currently they are: Control Security and Compliance Ecosystem Scalability Financing Economies of Scale Expertise Time to Market Below are some personal thoughts that I have on each section. Control - A lot of times prospects are scared of colocation because they believe that they are losing control. To a degree, this can be true, but most of the time it's not nearly as severe or as important to them as they think. Colocation facilities can do a lot to customize a solution to meet the requirements of a customer. Security and Compliance - Most of the time a large colocation facility will have much better security than an IT closet will. Things such as proximity access systems and two-factor authentication are normal in a colocation facility. Also, lots of colocation facility go through audits such as SSAE16, which makes the ability for the customer to meet compliance and regulations much easier. Ecosystem - A colocation facility is going to provide access to lots of network service providers and cloud ecosystems that normally an on premise IT closet or datacenter wouldn't have access to without very high costs. Scalability - A colocation facility is going to facilitate customer growth much easier than an onsite IT space unless the prospect purposefully over-built space in their office for growth. Since a colocation provider is always looking to add more customers, there usually is always free space available which makes it not only easy for the customer to grow, but also provides faster time to market. Financing - Building you own datacenter requires lots and lots of upfront cash (generally millions or tens of millions of dollars). Since colocation is like renting an apartment, you only pay a monthly cost to remain an occupant. This results in not only vastly reducing CapEx, but usually OpEx as well because a colocation facility will have been designed to operate at a higher level of efficiency than most on-premise datacenters and IT closets. Economies of Scale - Because Colocation is designed to house many tenants, the costs to maintain datacenter components and staffing becomes shared across many tenants as well. This often provides better coverage of staffing, better uptime due to improved preventative maintenance and usually at a reduced cost. Expertise - It's our job. We do it 24/365. We're here to support your needs any time of day with trained personnel. Time to Market - Colocation can offer a distinct advantage when it comes to getting a customer up and running quickly. When building a new datacenter facility, it generally takes about 2-years to go from concept to installing server equipment. Since colocation will often have capacity available for immediate use, we've had customers move-in ready in less than 4 hours. In addition to the notes above, I also spent a bit of time skimming over the internet and I pulled out sections of content from various places that I thought brought value. Feel free to use these excerpts to guide you in further research and idea creation, but please note they are not my content. I am a technical expert on the subject matter, so if you have any questions please feel free to send me a message and I'll get back to you as quickly as possible. (Prize: 300)

Design a Logo for a new e-commerce brand by bartkraaijvanger

For a new e-commerce brand we want you to develop a corporate logo. We are going to develop different webshops, selling consumer electronics and gadgets like smartphones, tablets but it could be also other things in the future. Every webshop is focused on a seperate category, so there will be a webshop for tablets, one webshop for laptops etc. Every webshop ends on 'challenger', so we got a webshop called tabletchallenger, smartphonechallenger etc. The word challenger should be clearly recognized over the different shops. The logo should be designed in a way that it can be used for other shops in the future, simply by changing the word (product category) in frond of 'challenger'. The brand logo should be minimalistic, not too colourful, modern and pragmatic. The brand proposition is different from current e-retailers, so the logo should be different as well. It should not look 'budget' but also not expensive. If we are satisfied with the design we hope we could work further with the designer on a one-to-one base. (Prize: 50)
