creo - 'creation''Noctiscreo' is the name of a new production company and we are in need of a logo. The basic feel of the logo should be mystical / dark, as in the name. A good image to visualize would be a wizard working hard at night by candlelight, creating something magical (see the first image sample).
Please do:
1. Use a maximum of three colours: black, white, blue.
2. Make it sit nicely on a widescreen TV but also make it fit as a header on a piece of paper. Therefore the easiest way to do this is just make it at least somewhat rectangular in shape.
3. The quality of the text will be just as important as the image behind it. Please make sure the text / font goes well with the image. The image doesn't have to be overly complicated, but it does need to look unique and professional.
4. Please be sure to send us the original files so we can edit/change sizes of things if we need to make it fit with our future media (paperwork, posters etc).
Other points:
*PLEASE don't make it cartoonish! Check out the logos like 'Summit' and 'Red Raven' (attached) and see how neither have any cartoon like features. Either of these are a great style / mood we can work with. Red Raven is obviously more dark and 'scratchy', but Summit is also very crisp and professional. Either are a great style to use.
My favourite sample image that I've uploaded here is the picture of the small wizard writing at the table in candlelight. If we can get something similar in theme to this, with the text 'Noctiscreo' incorporated in the image below it, that would be great. It doesn't need to have the same level of detail. It can be much less, as long as it is slick and professional in appearance.
Please note: one thing I *don't* like about that sample image though is that the wizard in the chair is small and 'cute'. There shouldn't be any cuteness to the logo. Even if it were just an arm writing with a quill that would be ok too.
Don't forget to add just a bit of blue somewhere, but be careful not to saturate the image. Again, Summit's logo is a great example.
