OnlineBusiness.com Needs Simple Yet Fresh, Exciting, Modern Logo by focus100
OnlineBusiness.com will be the authority resource about how to start or scale an online business. I'm hoping to have a talented designer create a logo that is simple, clean but still exudes professionalism and authority.
The logo on the homepage (see attached mock) will be all white as it will appear over the background hero image. So we will also need a colored version. Dark blue in the mockup is what I prefer. But if you need to use 2 tone colors ie. dark and light blue that might look ok.
Here are more tips:
1) Simple, professional but yet exciting, fresh and clean
2) I don't like overly complicated designs or adding styles to the typography.
3) A use of a very simple icon might be ok but ideally with our design and look maybe use of simply text would work best
4) The color used should be the dark blue used on the site. If needed we can use another shade of blue but I don't think we would mix blue and green.
5) The idea layout is full text horizontally ie. "online business" vs vertical:

6) I think lower case for the starting letters would work best too but if you think we should try caps for starting letters you can try
7) The font weight should be light and I prefer thin over thick because I feel our design is very light and clean
8) The font and and typography does not have to be the same for both words. So "online" can have a different font/typography than "business" so long as it looks good
