We have a non profit which we are about to register, however we are not able to finalize a name and a logo for it. the tagline is (inspire | innovate | impact). Please bear in mind we are not a big non profit just starting but want to make sure that the logo and the name stays in people mind.
we are primariy into social development and empowerment of people through education, skills development, community engagement through consulting and use of technology
Naming Brief:
The name could be generic and/or a made up word
Preferably the name should be single or max two words
we don't want the word consulting with it
The name could be in any language but preferenace would be for English and Hindi if not then other languages could be considered
We were thinking of Empact or Empower but too generic, hope fully it does give an idea
Logo Brief:
Preferably avoid the use of shading in the logo as we would need the logo both in color and black and white
it could be the initials or an abstract design
preferable colors are, Blue, Copper, Deep red, but pretty much free for creativity
Preferably generic in outlook as to not associated toward a specific area (Prize: 10)

Check out this great logo that we have used since 2003 hookerlooker.biz. I know - it's awesome right? It's a combined header/logo. This contest is to create a new version of that - If you can come up with something better. The only part that must remain is the fox and I will upload it here or link to it. We are looking for something wide and flat to cap the top of our pages. Don't make it too high. Flat and wide is the idea. We love the cartoon look, the informal, fun look. We love bright colours, even flouro, so you will want to choose colours that match the colours in the fox right? We are open to an animation if you wish in flash or animated gif or just a static logo / header. The logo will most likely sit on a black background. It most likely will have the same words on it, which is just the domain hookerlooker.biz. You may want to experiment with a small tag line as well like, "Monkey business experts since 2003" or "over 500 real photos" The job includes creating 2 or 3 versions of the header/logo, like in different shapes, plus 3 matching feature buttons search, post free ads, login/register seen here http://hookerlooker.biz/demo.html and nine matching navigation buttons, something like the old nav buttons, but with different colours and labels. In the ad they will see a heart doing sports - a weightlifter / running shoe, etc.
it need to be a photo of a ***real heart*** lifting weight/running and so on

Looking to design a logo for a scotch distillery.
The logo must have multiple uses, in particular a circular seal that can go on the bottles as well as the physical frontage of the distillery/signage itself as well as on the lid of the still. Ideally, the logo will be a circular design.
The name of the distillery will be "The Nullaki Distilling Company" and this must be displayed on the logo.
The distillery is planned on being in the south west of Western Australia. The area will be in an area by the coast, in particular a coastal inlet. There are large Karri (Gum) forests and green rolling hills in the area.
While no specific preference, preferred colours are a dark blue and grey. Looking for the impression of a substantial, traditional design ethos. (Prize: 250)
