Design a Logo: Waypoint Growth Advisors by rogerwallison

- Summary: Company name is "Waypoint Growth Advisors." 93% of the worldâs logos are simple, most with 1 or 2 colors, so I enclosed a few logo examples of what appeals to me. The final design I am looking for will have a unique icon/logo that can standalone, work with âWaypointâ or work with âGrowth Advisorsâ.
- The Design Tenets are:
1. No WGA initials as logos;
2. Do not use a W as a logo;
3. Use upper and lower case letters (not all capped) in the name. Try not to use basic thin fonts. Instead, use a medium font;
4. Focus on the word Waypoint, rather than Growth or Growth Advisors. Growth is the next most important word if you want to try common Waypoint and Advisors color;
5. You may take artistic freedom with the Color guideline; however, introduce an additional exciting color (yellow/gold/red) to a blue/gray combo pantone (see below);
6. Colors must work with white background and a simple black logo version must work;
7. Please try the creation of an authentic logo/icon to replace a Compass Rose (stretched and slanted star with 8 points) that could be incorporated next to the word Waypoint OR standalone by itself!!!
- Color Preference: I like Blue (PMS 633/ C90 M6 Y10 K28/ Hex 008ab0 /R77 G137 B173) and Gray (PMS cool gray 9/ C23 M18 Y11 K43/ Hex 919295/ R144 G145 B148) pantones. I understand the use of blue as it is most common because it exudes trust and authority (e.g., IBM), but I provide innovative startup companies with growth advise and want them to think that I am forward thinking and also provide clarity, wisdom and understanding. Therefore, I would recommend an addition of R246 G203 B4 goldish (see below) tone to match with the Blue or Gray as the waypoint or as the letter color for Growth Advisors.
- Preferred Style of Logo: Simple, and non-animated. Yet, with a stand-alone icon that can be recognized or coupled with company name. Also, Waypoint means âPoint at which course is changed,â and my services recommend a new course of prosperity and growth. You may want to start with the Compass Rose (heavily used) as a concept; however, a new modern-looking star-like logo is my desire to the left of the word Waypoint (or through it) common to the examples on the attachment. (Prize: 50)
