What we are looking for:
We have gone through some rough looking logos in the past and realise we need outside help to truly stand out. We aren't looking for any stock images because those are everywhere (even on funeral homes). We are a small business so we aren't looking for anything out of this world, just something simple but classy.
We are looking for an original logo that can be used on many different platforms. We have a website, that is now looking dated! The functionality of the website all works, but it needs to look more contemporary and much more exciting and engaging! We don't want to change the layout of the page - as we don't want to have to rebuild the site. We just want better fonts, improved size of fonts, better colours, better header image and better treatment of photos. NB the new logo has been attached - it is a dark blue not black, and we really like the orange.
So this should be the direction for the new look.

We are a Hong Kong based premium, dairy-free ice cream company called Happy Cow (www.happycowhk.com). We are running a contest to create an original cartoon character from the cow in our logo or a character made from ice cream (example: character made from M&Ms, Gudatama made from an egg). For the character it is important that it is gender neutral, positive, fun, carefree and playful. As we market to a multi-lingual market, no words can be used, but the actions/situation of the character should have universal appeal.
