Create an animated chart. by dc8000
We are a investment manager with strong performance numbers over the last year. We are looking to create an animated chart for use on our website and in digital advertising to illustrate our performance. In essence our net performance is 50% over the year to 31 Jan 2018 vs 22% for the benchmark. Historically we have used a static line chart of the growth in a $100,000 investment in our fund vs the benchmark.
However. we are looking for new ideas. Such as:
1. line chart with index line animated and draws first and then the fund lines is drawn to a higher level;
2. column chart with 2 piles of dollar bills instead of lines and the index pile grows first and then the fund; or
3. two digital watch type displays side by side with the values of both the fund and index increasing one month at time until get to end of one year.
However, these are just my random thoughts and hoping to find better ideas.

The information is calendar, time, weather, astronomy information and quotes on a charming view that the user will return to again. I have already most of the features on the website but are not happy with the graphics and design. The weather needs to be more appealing with pictures/animation, better color selection and page layout & structure.
