SIMPLE Text based Ice Cream Store logo - repost by leewang808
I need a logo for an ice cream store. It's called Lucy's Lab Creamery and sells regular and alcoholic ice creams. The theme of the store is science, as it will be designed somewhat like a Laboratory, with beakers, stainless steel tables, a blackboard, and decorations to match. The menu will be a periodic table of elements, with each element representing a unique flavor.
I'm looking for a simple, text-based logo. It can be symetrical or not, but preferred centered with only a few colors. Simplicity, text style, and boldness are key. If you're able to sneak in the word "quality" or "homemade", that would be awesome but not required. PLEASE SEE THE LA TOUR CAFE PICTURE BELOW. I LOVE THIS LOGO (but don't want to plagiarize their work).

Remote Control Children Cartoon by Family52014
Here is the voice-over that will be spoken during this cartoon. We want the animation to go along with the narration. We already have a narrator. "Of course, He could have created us to be like some robotic zombies, all moving in unison having no heart or brain. Each one of us could have been pre-programmed to strictly follow a set of rules. Those who have children might be able to relate to this. Overnight, parenting could become a perfect success. Sounds great huh? Ponder for a moment, we parents could just simply push some codes into that ole remote control and DING⦠each child could follow our set of rules! Yeah, Forget reading the book, "How to Train up a Child", weâll just program each child to follow certain rules. Oh, can you hear it? The sweet noise of little Suzy running the vacuum. Robert cutting the grass. Pots clinging and clanging as the younger ones put the dishes away. Yes, each child could be preprogrammed. Then when they get older, they can program their own children. Eventually we would end up with a society of heartless, preprogrammed people. That is exactly what the world elite wants"
Scene 1:A Fed-Ex truck delivers a box to a large country cottage family household with a messy front yard. (toys thrown across the yard, grass needs to be cut, flower beds full of weeds, trash bags piled on the porch, etc.)
The Mom opens the door when the fed-ex man knocks. Her hair is a mess and looks stressed. She signs for the package and waves goodbye.
Scene 2: Mom and Dad opening the box with their 5 children gathered around.
Once opened, the Mom reads the manual and the Dad is looking at the remote control.
Mom and Dad program stuff into the remote and point to a child, program stuff into the remote and point to a child, this is repeated for each child with a *DING* as they press the last button on the control. As the remote is pointed to each child they walk off screen. As they begin to walk off screen, just after the remote is pointed to them their whole disposition about themselves changes. As in, they get a little jolt, stand up straighter, smiles are off their face and they look serious.
Scene 3: Mom and Dad sitting next to each other in bed under the covers late at night, looking tired quickly flipping through pages of the book, "To Train up a Child". 3 page website mockup - Ongoing work for winner by Michaelkd
We are designing our customer facing site and want to see some creative ways to make it look as good as possible.
We are running this design contest on 3 key pages and want a site that is super clean and simple, with a modern feel. Ideally flat design. The sites will have minimal text and should be visually very easy to understand and appealing. It would be great to have UX effects over menus, transitions and hover states. We prefer monochromatic colourings but are happy for you to experiment.
