I am looking for a logo for a new company called 'Motionsonic'
We are a live sound and recording company, providing sound systems and engineers for events, as well as multitrack recording, mixing, mastering and video production of these events.
The name Motionsonic should be one word, however a variation in fonts, type (bold etc) is welcome.
The logo will be used in: web, social media, print, publishing, video etc.
An image/icon as part of the logo is welcome if you feel it works well, we have not decided yet. If so, it would be useful to have it so we can use the image and the text separately if needs be. It could also work to have an image incorporated into the word somehow.
I have attached a PDF file with logo ideas that we like the look of, as well as a PDF of a couple of very basic mock ups that I have done in Word. The colours included in the attached files are just examples and any mix of colours is welcome.
The tag line 'Live sound and recording' or 'Live sound & recording' can be incorporated into the logo design or kept separate, you decide.
We are looking for a modern, clean, flat look with any type of font, the tag line can also be removed if you desire.
Full Photoshop and PDF files etc required to allow reproduction and the like for selected winner. Must be unique design and original work.

Design for a personal homepage/blog by roche133
I'd like a redesign for my homepage/blog http://ro-che.info.
The current contents of that page will go away. Instead there should be:
* A header with my name (just like now)
* A small block of text about me (3-5 sentences of text), on the side or overlapped with the main column

* The main column, consisting of blog post previews and a "read more" link/button.
* A footer with 5 to 10 small sized links
Notes:

Quick logo alteration for our Non Profit by comfassion
Hello Talented Freelancers!
Sorry I can't offer much in terms of a prize for this contest but we're hoping someone with more design skills than us will be able to quickly change our logo without too much work. We just want to change the f/p part of the logo and slightly change the circle for which details are given below.
We are open to new ideas as well so if anyone has a brilliant logo in mind that's better than our current one, please feel free to submit it :)

Onto the Logo, starting with what we like, followed by what we'd like to change:
We like the idea of the interchanging f/p symbol and thought it might look good to have a spinning version somewhere on the website to show 'compassion, comfassion, compassion' and so on. We also like the fact that the symbol can be used by itself. We're planning on having a tiny tag on each T shirt sleeve which will have the symbol on. For that reason the symbol had to be really simple as the tag will be small.
We find the execution of the f/p a bit distracting as it breaks up the workmark ("Is it an F? An upside down P?", etc). We think it may look better as a script character - an "f" with a descender tail that could curl to the left and form a P in a more subtle way. This could still work if the letter spins and the viewer will have a clearer understanding that the letter is indeed an "f" and not an upside down P. We would also like the circle to still be full and round but be cut off differently with horizontal ends rather than the slight angles they're at now.

The Not-For-Profit is called Comfassion (which blends the term Compassionate Fashion). Our aim is to create and print artistic designs which raise awareness of global issues onto ethical T shirts. All of the profits will then go to charities which are working to solve those issues. So for example, one T shirt will have a design which raises awareness of human trafficking. The profits made from the sales of that T shirt will then go to safe houses and counselling for survivors of human trafficking.
The T shirts will be made from sustainable and/or recycled materials and we will work to the highest possible ethical and environmental standards at every level of manufacture.

Design a Logo for Retail Store (Vanity Fair) by beaconstar
We are opening a retail shop at a busy downtown location. The main products offered are of two major categories:
1). High-end and high-resolution replicated painting. We produce these on our high-end inkjet printer. We would take consumer's old photo or paintings, digitize them, and then reproduce the art on the chosen medium. Such reproduced art will then be framed according to consumer's choice.
2). Personalized decorations such as shower curtain, glass, tiles, any construction material that is used in interior decoration. We would take the raw material and imprint consumer's picture or artwork onto the raw material. The contractors will then install such pieces as desired by the consumers.
Both categories of product have one thing in common - "Personalization." It means that we don't do anything stock (or pre-manufactured); we only produce when the consumers bring us their very own images or artwork. Needless to say, our business model feeds on the "narcissistic" side of human nature; the need of us human to be "vain." Henceforth, the name of the store is called "Vanity Fair."
Please note that the store to be opened is not in the U.S., so we'd like to subliminally hint the American roots in the logo. This part is very important!
Also, in it's final form (when eventually used as store sign), the word "Vanity Fair" will be reduced so that the local language of the name can be prominently displayed. (Prize: 100)

Two Columns in Desktop, One Column in Mobile by kjopc

I have a form on an ASP.NET page that imports Wordpress styles. The form is located here:

The Wordpress style puts the labels and inputs in one column (Mobile.png) which is fine for mobile but not for a wider desktop screen.
The goal is to fix the desktop version of the screen to display the labels on the left and the input controls on the right as shown in Desktop.png.
The contest is to produce a responsive CSS script that can be *pasted into the page markup* to produce the effect shown in Desktop.png. The page must remain responsive so the mobile version continues to render like Mobile.png
You can use jQuery but cannot change the version or location of the jQuery files. The winner will be the simplest solution that exactly matches the requirements.
This should be easy for someone who knows responsive design and Wordpress themes. (Prize: 25)

We need a redesign for the logo for the "Hochalm". It's a small cottage in the Alps in Austria on the "Untersberg" (mountain). As this mountain is the most famous in Salzburg, it should be in the logo. Please check out the attached file for the outline of the mountain.
Colours: green+optional- (e.g.grey- black- white)"Hochalm" should be highlighted and "am Untersberg" (which means on the Untersberg) in small letters.

We are seeking several Instructional Designers for a SAP roll out project that kicks off late May 2014 and finishes the end of July 2014. The roles are remote work from home office, 40 hours per week @ $45 USD per hour.
The 9 person team will each be working with different streams of work in the roll out. The deliverables will largely be developing QRGs, documentation, and PPTs. Some team working with WBT will develop in Captivate. The rest will use PPT.
The project requires an Australian site visit for 2 weeks near the end of the project. All travel and associated costs will be paid for you. Two team members may have to visit India.
The client team is based in Australia. Working hours for this project are mid-afternoon to mid-evening Eastern time. As the project evolves more flex in time closer to a standard working day may be available.
Experience required:
- Significant ID and courseware development experience creating ILT, eLearning and WBTs
- Significant SAP experience and must have created training specifically for SAP
- Industry experience in finance and accounting is ideal
- Captivate experience would be ideal
- Ability to travel to Australia, work virtually, and work the times required

ABOUT OUR RESTAURANT called Saint Tropez Kitchen:
The food: Saint Tropez is only the beginning. Guests will enjoy a culinary journey not only of French inspired dishes but tastes throughout the Mediterranean. The c in kitchen represents the California influence of Fresh, Citrus, Fun, Local, Sustainable and Healthy.
RESTAURANT FEEL
Relaxing, upbeat, with creative and interactive menus, casual but with upscale food and service
LOGO FEEL
a. Simple is best.
b. Do not want a complicated picture or detailed cartoon (for example cartoon of a chef, no!)
c. Must work on both white and black backgrounds.
d. We're open to using the color orange to represent "freshness", for example as a swoosh, an orange, underline, a dot, a colorized letter, or in any other fashion. Color orange is not required, but we'd be interested to see a good design incorporating orange!
