The sound should be calming, relaxing - Like the wind blowing softly on a hot day at an idyllic tropical beach,
DONT just give the sound of the wind!!!
It should combine sound effect & music like TED example & be synchronised more or less to emphasise the actual logo animation.
It should build to a crescendo - but should not be brash & hard - remember soft- relaxing- calm
The total duration of the animation is approx 12 seconds - i have attached a file with a LOW RES version of the animation - there are still some minor changes to be done to this example & it is not the final version -

I need a logo for a website I'm currently designing. See: http://www.n3rve.com/squash/ - The "finesse" text at the top left section of the website needs replacing with a clean, unique logo. See attachments for examples. The logo should have a landscape orientation, as not to create a gap between the navigation menu and the top part of the website. After a logo has been selected, I will provide the designer temporary FTP access to insert the logo, and you can it make it overlap a little to fit in nicely .

Design a Logo for B2B Energy Conservation Company "EC Coatings, LLC." by ecmholdinggroup
Based out of Oshkosh WI, EC Coatings, LLC. is part of a larger holding group that provides energy conservation measures for large commercial and government buildings. EC Coatings' in particular applies (sprays typically) protection and restoration coatings to HVAC systems, as well as other components of a building structure such as hot pipes and the building envelope.
We would like to see the color blue, and maybe orange if it is combined with blue. Blue is associated with the finish product of our coatings (color of most of our coatings), whereas orange can be associated with the "before" because of rust/dirt/heated look of coils, etc. (Check Coils picture included)

Logo Characteristics that I am looking for.
Looking for a corporate looking logo that is simple. Ideally with a subtle reference to the idea of the company but not necessarily trying to convey the whole idea. Linked In has a good logo, the word IN inside a blue box (company color) which has a subtle double meaning, you are in the club and the last word of the company name. Apple' logo is the best of all times, an apple which is associated with smart things (invention of calculus, genetics) with a bite out of it (knowledge from the Adam and eve story). High standard, doesn't need to be that good, but you get the idea. I don't want it to look cartoonish. Needs to be Professional and Corporate but esoteric is fine.
I want the primary color to be in some shade of blue. One color is enough, but it doesn't have to be limited to one color, but the primary one needs to be in some shade of blue.
Here are our working taglines for our web site (this contest is for the a LOGO, just to give you an idea). Not sure which one we are going to use, they are in the order that I like them right now, but I think anyone of them could be the one.

We are a new company producing a wide range of video entertainment. Open to any interpretation like line drawing, illustrated, or just bold simple text. We like "white space". The main thing is it must be easy to read. It needs to be clean, modern and simple. It must be able to be used for the web as well as business cards, letterhead etc. The emphasis should be on the words RABBIT HOLE rather than ENTERTAINMENT.
NOTE - many entries are concentrating on the RABBIT as the visual. Perhaps try playing with "HOLE" as an image. Also the entries are skewing/looking too young.

I would like a logo designed for my start-up law firm that is symbolic of trust, reliability, steady - something that portrays that the company is looking out for their best interest. The law firm will primarily represent small - mid size businesses as well as start-ups and the website will have a very contemporary fell to it - not like old, stuffy law firm websites. The name of the firm is The Wagoner Firm. The color scheme for the website is currently a lighter blue - similar to the BIRD in freelancer.com's logo. Therefore, the logo that you design should compliment that color scheme and be contemporary in nature.
I've added some of the pictures that I've obtained that may be used for the website which should give you a better idea of the feel and color scheme that will be used. The lighthouses symbolize the law firm - always present and there to serve as a guide in calm and turbulent seas. The building has a contemporary feel to it and will be used on the website page for real estate development. The pillars will be used on the page dealing with litigation - and is the most traditional photo on the website. The picture of the city is of downtown Albany, NY where the firm will be located. Feel free to use any of these photos as inspiration for the design, but do not limit yourself to them.

1. We want the comics replaced with really good pictures of extreme sport activities like: bungyjumping, basejumping, wingsuiting, white water rafting, skydiving, paragliding, hangliding, surfing, windsurfing, rock climbing, paintball, downhill bicycling, racecar driving, zip-lining, helicopter driving, kiteing, offroad driving, offroad motorcycling, downhill skiing, offpiste/powder skiing, snowboarding, skateing, diving, cayaking, canyoning, RIB boating, tubing, etc.
2. Our logo should appear like the Marvel logo does and our logo file is attached. The original one is Orange/blue(logo.png), but I have also attached our logo in different colors whitch you are free to play with.

4. If you look at the second Marvel clip in this post, you see that the "STUDIOS" is lit up with a bright light/flash. I would like the word "ADVENTURES" in our logo to be lit up the same way.
