Design a Logo and thumbnail for a company that has a website. The company provides quality consultancy, advisory and other business services to leaders in entrepreneurship.
The logo must be simple and less is better. The logo needs to be easily identified across the various media.
The colours need to be web safe.
The thumbnail (square) needs to be simple and be easily recognised.
The thumbnail will be used on sites as the Profile picture on Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Tumblr, Slideshare etc.
The thumbnail can be a cutdown section of the logo.
The logo and thumbnail will need to be contained in a coloured border.

Design a Banner for my blog by k7501
My girlfriend and I have a blog that we run and it is called Path to the Future. There, every now and then, we post some updates on our everyday lives and highlights (we live in different countries for now). What I would like to ask you is to design an alternative, better (in your opinion) looking banner for it. The blog is only intended for ourselves to read, so it shouldn't really be calling for attention, but rather be something nice and sweet. The one that i have used is displayed in the attached image. I'd like it to retain the maroon colours, two maps (ideally matching each other in style) and the name of the blog next to an icon/logo that represents a path, or possibly two paths that go into one. The size of the banner is best to be kept the same.

Board Game Style Artwork for Science Game by jjcoveyou
Please see my simple example entitled Ribosome.jpg for an example of what I want. This is a sketch that I did to give you and idea of the picture I am lokking for.. This does not have to be very detailed. At this point I want it to look a little rough, but also professional.

My clients, like me are full time business professional's in the city with a love of fitness training mostly outdoors both in the cbd and at national parks, running trails, mountains and beaches. They wish to train hard Monday to friday and want to celebrate their fitness/athletic ability weekends with friends, family or indeed competitors, in beautiful locations
The pic included depicts a runner in the mountains and serves as a good guide to the energy which the logo needs to be able to convey
Another aspect of my training is the high level of endurance my clients need to sustain each training session
I have been referred to as 'Mars (nickname) The Merciless' after the tv character of the 1950's Ming The Merciless.
As a character, I am of asian background and like the idea of a facial caricature to promote my business as a personal, engaging and tough trainer who expect her clients to give their all.
I am unsure that the running image and the facial caricature idea can work together and want to view them both ideas separately

EDIT: While i will consider any designs, i am far less likely to select one that is not on a transparent background, for the different purposes that we will be using this logo it will make it much easier on us if the logo does not have a background so that we can place it over anything and not have to worry about how they will work.
We are looking for designs for our company logo. We plan to use the letters MPS in the logo. We are developing and bringing to market a nanoparticle delivery system that allows DNA or other genetic material to be delivered to cells. So we were thinking maybe something with a double helix for the DNA and maybe something similar to UPS or Fedex or one of the other delivery services. We are looking for something clean and simple, yet modern with a slick streamlined feel to it. I have uploaded a working logo we have made. I would be looking for some submissions to just take that image and improve on it, while I would like some other to incorporate a double helix running either vertically or horizontally. I would also be open to new and different designs but I think that I would prefer that they all use the letters MPS in the logo, tho I would be open to the addition of an object or something else, don't want to limit creativity. I need a graphic design for two characters inspired in peppa pig and her brother george, i need them to be inspired by them, but not equals.

Remake of an old tattoo (Graphic Design) by whiteportion
OK, so I have an old tattoo which suddenly was there a Sunday morning many years ago. It's ugly. It's lame. It's a tribal tattoo.
It's about time I did something to it, and I've decided to upgrade the tattoo with some help from you!
I've added two photos of my tattoo. One showing the location of tattoo (which is on my right arm), and one with the measurements of the tattoo.
If you need more details or pictures regarding size etc, please contact me.
The two other photos (003.JPG and 004.JPG) are of items I would enjoy to see included in my new tattoo.
I do not wish to control too much of the new layout, as I'm sure there are people out there (again - you!) who knows their stuff.
That said, this is what I hope you can squeeze in;
1. The "Half-Life" logo. I love this logo. And the game. And the story.
2. The "Half-Life" crowbar. A crowbar? Yes, please. If possible. Not "required".
As for overall tattoo size, I understand that these modifications causes the tattoo to be larger. Maybe just not too big?
If you feel that color needs to be added, then go ahead. I don't' mind.
I guess the trick will be to somehow add these new layers and other effects over the existing tattoo, so that it will be included in the new tattoo without looking too out of place. And also, I don't like tribal style tattoos.
