Design Outdoor Signs for a Zoo! by aguttorm

SUMMARY: We need signage designed. We create mobile (smartphone-based) games that visitors to Zoos play while they explore the Zoo. It's a GAME. Players go from exhibit to exhibit. They perform fun challenges, answer riddles, follow clues, and solve puzzles. Along the way they learn fun facts about the animals. We transform a Zoo visitors passive, obvervational trip to the zoo into an entertaining, engaging, interactive adventure. HOW DO PEOPLE PLAY? The way it works is that people who visit the zoo see the signage as they're walking through the zoo. The signage captures their attention, then informs them of how the game works and encourages them to play. Then they embark a self-guided adventure (via smartphone) through the Zoo. ***NOTE: The winner of this contest will also win the rights to be added as our primary graphic supplier. We currently need 10-20 signs designed every month. If you win this contest and provide excellent signage we will use you for all of our future design needs.*** SUMMARY: We need point of sale signage designed. It will be displayed throughout a Zoo. SIGNAGE DIMENSIONS: 1) One is a 4'x6' (Four feet wide and six feet tall) sign. 2) The other is a 6'x3' (Six feet wide and three feet tall horizontal sign) These two signs (above) are large need to be visible to visitors that are walking many feet away as the walk through the Zoo. They need to be visible from a distance. Because the signs are large, they have a lot of room for content. The sign below is a little bit small but still has room for content. 3) The third sign is a vertical 2'x5' sign. (Two feet wide and five feet tall.) So you're creating three designs (They will all be very similar!) GOAL OF THE SIGNAGE: The goal of the signage is to create awareness for the game and encourage people to play with copywriting/sales - which we will provide you below. Then they embark a self-guided adventure (via smartphone) through the Zoo. FOUR IMPORTANT ELEMENTS IN EVERY SIGN: 1) It needs to capture attention. See the attention grabbing phrases that can be used in the "Attention Grabber Reference" section below. 2) The sign needs one tagline. (See "Tagline Reference" below). 3) It needs to show benefits of playing the game. See the "Benefits Reference" section below for a list of the benefits of the game. 4) The sign should also give a couple of quick points explaining how signup works and answer questions. (This is explained in the "FAQ Reference" section below.) NOTE: The FAQ section will be the smallest part of the sign and the text will be smaller than the rest of the signage. It's really for people who come up close to the sign to learn more and want to read it. 5) Every sign should display an image in some way. (I've included an example image as an attachment that can be used.) 6) Price: Every sign should say the price somewhere (which is $3.50 per participant) 7) Every sign should have a CALL TO ACTION. (See Call To Action Reference section) *You'll be mixing and matching the elements above. You'll choose an attention grabber, add the benefits, and then add the FAQ/How it works elements. You'll also work in an image in some way (the one provided or an even better one - I love creativity!). VISUAL PREFERENCE: (Important) While there is a lot of content and text, the simpler the better. This means fewer colors and beautiful, simple design is preferred. The signage should not look "retail" like something you would see in Macy's. It should look like it belongs in a Zoo. COLOR PREFERENCE: The main colors should fit in with the current Zoo theme which focuses on greens, browns, blues and yellows/oranges. Again, I'm looking for clean simple design. ***REFERENCE DOCUMENT IS ATTACHED*** (Prize: 301)

Graphic Design for Clinical Product Label by laurawakelam

As a company we are looking to redesign the labels of one of our flagship products - the 'CliniSmart' range, a reusable medical waste disposal bin which is used in hospitals and doctors surgeries. We want to maximise and leverage the advertising space of our brand 'Daniels' whilst also trying to introduce key selling messages including our commitment to Environmental sustainability and the fact that we an Australian owned and operated company. There will be a range of 5 bins but from a design point of view the only thing that will differ on each one is the prefix (which in the attached PDF is a 'P' for pharmaceutical) and the waste description (which in the attached PDF is 'R120 Pharmaceutical Waste Only). We want someone who can create a fresh look with the design - we are bound by 6 colour printing (one of the colours has to be white because of the way we are printing our labels) but really want to capitalise on our advertising space. The only things that are "fixed", i.e. they have to be on the label are the following: 1. P64 Clinismart name (keeping the same colours) 2. Daniels logo (keeping the same colours) 3. This way up blurb (which can of course be redesigned!!) 4. Waste Description (due to the nature of the bin, this does need to be fairly prominent but not detracting from our branding) 5. Keeping within the parameters of the sticker size/shape and of course we also want to incorporate in some way our environmental and 'made in Australia' messages but these can be modified as you see fit. (At the moment we have an environmental icon which is more recycling - we need to make it a more generic image as this particular product cannot be recycled). I look forward to seeing your ideas!! Logo and Business Card Design for events and entertainment company by Eventspider

We are in need of a corporate logo and business card design (with new logo and fresh colours) for a Company named EventSpider. This logo is needed for the company's new corporate image. The company provides searches for available event and entertainment venues and allows users to book through the website. The logo needs to be colourful, with preferably the 8 legs of a spider (not literally - but some type of design that has 8 different coloured lines intertwined for example ) somewhere in the overall design. Bring in the concept of the spider web would also be preferable but not nessesary. We want to not draw attention the the negative undertones of the spider but play to its strengths. If we were to describe the personality of the brand it would be: * Energetic * Fun * Vibrant * Lots of personality The Business cards need to have the new logo and a fresh design. Back and front is preferred but not essential. We are looking for that Xfactor as well. Someone to think outside the box a bit as well. Simple is usually always better. (Prize: 600)

Logo Design for MainstreetMoney.Pro (consumer credit/money product site) by completethings

Thanks for looking. This should be fun and allow for creativity for you while still giving you sane directions. : ) Read it all please. The site is about money... fixing credit, building credit, how to make more, how to get a loan... So it can't be a 'fun' logo, but it's a 'normal people' site (not stuck up 'financial professional' garbage) designed around taking action NOW instead of 'learn learn learn not do anything'. - The URL is the company name: MainstreetMoney.Pro - The contest is for a logo. No site design or business cards. Just the logo. - Word mark ('CocaCola' script), Pictoral mark (Coke bottle next to 'CocaCola' script), and Emblem (Harley Davidson) are all acceptable styles. The logo should: - Have easy to read text. - The only text: MainstreetMoney.Pro - The text can be written as above, or as separate words. - Case is not important as long as the URL is clearly understandable. - Be one or two colors. (I suggest 'black or white' and 'something else'.) - No preference in footprint between 'squarish' and 'wider than high'. 'higher than wide' is not advised (unless it's just brilliant looking ; ) - It may have a visual effect, but still must look good with any effect (or provide a variant for black/grey on white usage). Things we know we like: - Due to 'Mainstreet' bit in the name... Streetsigns (think 'Seaseme Street') . Outlines of streetsigns (like of a pole with two signs as you'd see at a corner). The words being the message (keep the graphics simple). Basic reminders: - The final product must be provided both as a layered PSD file and an AI or EPS version. - The logo will be used on branding efforts (lots of banner ads) and the website itself. - This is (of course) work for hire under US law. All rights to the work are given to us, the buyer, should we award you, the designer, the contest and Freelancer complete the award payment for this contest. You may (of course) still show the logo and/or reference our URL as part of your portfolio if you wish. Thank you guys very much, and we're looking forward to the designs! (Prize: 100)

The three banners are to promote/feature a spread of the products from the new site: http://119.81.1.68/~excali64/shop/ The banners will feature on the site in the promotional slideshow on the home page. I'm looking for designs that help make the site "pop"! Please use the photos on the site as feed images though they can also be provided directly if required. Future work for these banners would also likely follow. Grouping products in the categories they appear would be best. (Prize: 100)

Hi, I am looking for a good 'web designer' to design me a website for a hotel I manage in Thailand. I own a web development company in Australia so the winner of the contest will be given regular work in the future. I have used a few designers from freelancer and have had a few problems. 1. Understand Web development limitation. As well as looking for someone who is creative at the same time I am looking for a designer who has a lot of web design experience and understands the limitations of web development. 2. Understands the English Language I am looking for someone who understands English language very well. I have had problems in the past where designers don't understand the requirements due to their lack of understanding of the English Language. Please only enter the contest if your are very confidant with the English Language. Contest Details..... I need a LOGO & WEBSITE designing for a hotel on Phi Phi Island in Thailand (Golden Hill Bungalows). I have a facebook page and am also advertised in hostelworld.com if you need any more information about the hotel. Phi Phi Island is a very beautiful place and there is so many nice images available on the internet. Pages I need 1. Homepage I want this to look very attractive with some general photos of Phi Phi Island and a combination of the best photos I have of the hotel. I also want a selection of the best photos of the rooms on here. Please also add a link / button at the bottom of the page for 'book now' and 'check rates'. 3. Facilities & More This page will have 4 sections. (Pool, Bar, Dining, Trips & Parties) Please add a little bit of content about each section along with a selection of the best photos I have. Either all on one page or if you want to separate these out into separate pages and have a sub menu then this is ok too. 4. Room Rates, This will be just a table showing the different room types, different seasons, and the prices. I have attached an image taken from another website as an example. There are 3 seasons - Low, High, Peak There are 6 room types - Double (Fan), Double(A/C), Twin (Fan), Twin (A/C), Triple (Fan), Triple (A/C) 5. Booking Form Just a simple booking form. Because users can book a number of rooms then I need a form so the user can select the first room. There needs to be an 'add to booking'. The add to booking button will add this to the booking summary which will be on the same page as the form. This means that the user will able able to add more than one room under the same booking. At the end of the booking then there will be a 'submit booking' button which then sends the booking summery to golden hill bungalows. Fields Booking Details Section Firstname: textbox Lastname: textbox Nationality: textbox Email Address: textbox Additional Information: textarea Rooms Section Room Type: dropdown Check-in Date: textbox Duration (Nights): dropdown ADD TO BOOKING BUTTON Booking Summery Section Room Type: Check-In Date: Number of Nights: Room Cost: Sub Total: Total: SUBMIT BOOKING BUTTON 6. I have also attached a read me text file which has some example sites and other details in there. Please read this. The only requirement i have is (Prize: 200)
