Design a Logo / Color Scheme for my iOS App by mws970
The app will be based on the idea of a "Stack" of items - think of a pile of coupons / pages. The icon should be one or two colors at most, and can incorporate the "S," but should be able to be interchanged with any letter because the title of the app is still a work in process. I've attached some logos for apps that I like a lot.
For the color scheme I want to have 4 colors that I can use for the design, in addition to white. (Prize: 160)

I have attached our logo and you can view our intro to our site at youtube.com/user/vapel1fe I would like the banner in flash or gif, I have seen some amazing banner in gif format, sound isnt an option as there must not be one. This shouldnt be that hard as I want to implement the logo maybe have it look like the intro to my videos but not that long, it needs to have some scrolling or text that comes up thru smoke, like appears while smoke blows away or up and appears the word, first off its "VapeL1FE" and you can view the site at vapel1fe.com. I would like it say/scroll/fade whatever, Vaporizers, Mechanical Mods, Variable Voltage and Wattage, then finally everything you need in one place for your vaping needs, or something along those lines. I want it to look good. Keep in mind the feeling of smoke and burning coils, and vaping. Dont make it techy like doors closing or whatever, it has to fit the theme of the site. I would like it in 468x80, 728x90. You dont have to use the coils in the AI i would like at least like to see the smoke animated, key here is the BEST gif you can make since that is the only animation we can use, if you can make it in FLASH also would be nice. Actually we have a logo like a dragon (you can see it on the attached image), but for a new tshirt we like to give an idea of rebirth/revival, so my proposal is to get the body of a phoenix-firebird and the head of our dragon.

Develop options for a Corporate Identity for an Architectural firm. by marcnicholas
We've had initial designs developed for our corporate identity. We are happy with the direction; however, we'd like to develop some options to take it 'to the next level'.
As a minimum, contestants should submit a logo, business card and letterhead. Feel free to submit other collateral to support your design if you wish - pencil, with compliments slip, note pad etc.
Attached is the current logo and business card design.
To start contestants off, I've included the following to indicate possible directions that the designs could be taken:
- a photoshop file showing a minor change to the logo
- initial letterhead options 'mocked-up' in word
- business card options with comments
Additional explanatory notes:
Our current company name is "Nicholas Associates Architects".
Our future company name will be "Group N/ Architects"
The business cards and letterheads need to accommodate this future progression - i.e. our logo and collateral will be "Nicholas Associates Architects" for the short term and change to "Group N/ Architects". It would advantages if the letterhead design and business card design accommodated this progression without extensive changes to the overall collateral design.
