Design Brief:
1. To create a logo featuring a monkey for a food and beverage store (predominantly beverages) that features shaved iced as the core offering. The store sales iced blended drinks, shaved ice desserts, organic cold pressed juices as well as bubble teas.
The monkey logo should:
- closely relate to the trading name 'FreezeMonkey'
- could feature either just the head of the monkey or part/full body expressing his feeling from consuming cold foods/drinks - so cold that the monkey could look to be 'frozen'.
- should use a maximum of 4 colours (or preferably less) in consideration of printing cost on takeaway cups and containers
- This is an Asia based operation - you could feature either an Orang Utan or a Chimpanzee if you so wish but I am very open.
- The logo should also have simple lines as it will be incorporated into various aspects of the operation - an overly complex design will make it technically difficult for embroidery, printing and signage.
- The target age group is very broad - the monkey should express youthfulness and cheekiness without looking childish.
2. Rendition of the word 'FreezeMonkey' to complement the logo
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work further on the project and be involved in further rendition of the monkey character for incorporation into the store, corporate identity and website design. Hence, providing extra mock-up renditions such as corporate identity, rendition of the monkey in related activities, etc. would help me gauge your suitability for the whole project.

Beverage Logo by labotanica
We are starting a beverage company and we are looking for logo both classy and retro. The name of the Company is "Gaseosas La Botánica" which translates to The Botanist Sodas, and we want the design to be based in an old fashioned pharmacy label, with some art nouveau inspiration.
