Exclusive Hides is a new start-up company offering exclusive bespoke products made with cowhides leather pieces stitch together.
Our clientele is divided into 2 categories: High-end individual and professionals clients (interior designers/decorators, architects.)
People can either customize products themselves or we can suggest a tailored design based on their preferences and needs.
The range of products we offer is as follows, but not limited to :
- Natural, coloured and printed cowhides (mainly with hairs-on â can be long or shaved)
- Rugs and tapestry
- Pillows
- Chairs/armchairs/sofa/stools/ottomans/bed headboards
- Special home projects
What do we need with this contest: Starting from our range of 94 Colours/textures, we need you to create:
one collection/set of products that will include one rug (rectangular, round or any shape you can imagine ) created with 1 pattern and declined in 5 different colours assembly, 2 pillows, (one square and one rectangular) declined in 5 different colours as well.
For Rugs, the shape and colours can be as you wish. Round, rectangular or curved, but we would like some designs with the following colours: olive green; blue; grey; red/white/ black, Note that we would also like to have some really colourful products. We do not want products with only one colour. They all need to have at least two colours, with a limit of 10. Also, hairs can be long or shaved. This difference can be used for the same product.

Keep in mind that we sell luxury products for luxury home interiors.
Technique: Leather pieces are stitched together to create the final product (rugs/carpets, tapestry, walls, etc). We can use long or short hairs in the same product. Hides used are approximately sized 2m x 2m = you cannot use a piece that is more than 2meter long in your creation.
As we will need several collections, if there is several proposition we like, we will award the contest price to the best. We can then create one to one project if we like other proposition.
The best designers may be contacted on one to one projects later for the same type of work. (Prize: 500)
