Get prices from remote server (magento web store) by cyracks
The request is that product prices for logged-in users are not retrieved from mysql database but from remote http server using GET request. Prices are fetched on the fly only for products of interest (current page) and for logged-in users. The reason for that is that prices are stored on different computer/software and we would like to have "live" connection between web store and software where specific customer prices are defined.
Example:
1) Customer visits the magento web store
2) Customer log-in (only for logged in users)
3) Customer navigate to category or product page
4) Before any page with products is loaded, prices are fetched from remote HTTP server (and NOT from mysql database)
5) If customer adds the product to the shopping cart he/she must set the quantity and if quantity > 1 the price for product is again retreived from remote HTTP server
Of course if customer buys the product, the prices in checkout should also be the same as on product page or shopping cart.
If price for the product is not retrieved default price should be shown
if HTTP server is not on-line (not reachable) non-intrusive message should be shown to the user (aka "Your prices are not available at this time, default prices are shown...").
Example of url for price retrival is
url:port/prices?user=user_email&product_id-1=qty&product_id-2=qty...

(product_id in url address is NOT magento id of the product, but a custom attribute added to the product (you can set it to be external_id). )
