Do you know how to construct unique, user-friendly mobile applications? Then we need you're help for ZipInspect.com. We are looking for a designer with an eye for detail in crafting exceptional customer experiences. Our company has soft launched our web-based version, but we realize it has some shortcomings. We want a new set of eyes to look at our current product and construct a more ideal design for our software. We are looking for a design that will work across our web-based and mobile versions. We're open to all suggestions and are likely to extend further opportunities to the winner.
ZipInspect is a software product aimed at helping people inspect things. We help people manage inspections of buildings, equipment, employees, safety procedures and anything else that could require an inspection.
There are some important aspects of our software product. (I'd suggest you create a free trial account at ZipInspect.com to see how our product currently works)
(1) Users need to be able to construct their own inspection checklist templates. Once these templates are created they can be re-used.
(2) Templates must support dynamic object counts. For example, for a property inspection the user should be able to define how many bedrooms the property has. Based on the number of bedrooms, the inspection template would have a separate checklist sub-section for each bedroom.
(3) There must be support for "Expert Templates." Expert Templates are a library of pre-made templates available to users. This allows users to quickly start inspecting things by using proven inspection templates. We list these expert templates categorically to allow users to quickly find a template that meets their needs.
(4) Users must be able to assign inspections to other users, or simply by email address. In the web-based version inspections can be assigned for completion by people who are not ZipInspect users. This allows a company to assign inspections to be completed by an individual without having to make a user account for that individual.
(5) There must be the ability to track aggregate metrics for an inspection target. For example, users should be able to see aggregate statistics of inspection results for a property, piece of equipment, etc.
(6) There must be the ability to schedule recurring inspections. For an inspection target, users must be able to setup inspections that are automatically generated at on-going intervals. An example would be a quarterly property inspection or a weekly safety inspection.
(7) There must be an inspection review process. Inspections can be setup to require a review after they are completed. This ensures that managers review completed inspection reports. Inspection reports are then marked as "reviewed" to indicate they require no further action. A part of this process is the presentation and printing of inspection reports.
(8) There must be the ability to add new users to a ZipInspect account. (Prize: 200)

Design a T-Shirt/Hoodie for a university by hassaanx
Need a design for hoodies for a university. The name of the university is NUST that stands for National University of Science & Technology. It is based in Pakistan across multiple cities and campuses.
The design needs to be simplistic yet elegant. While some form of a 'statement' would be good, bear in mind that it should not be too immature. Taglines are welcome. Clutter-free designs would be better.

The hoodies/shirts would be in colors such as black, dark blue/navy and red.
The majority target audience is based in Punjab province of Pakistan while some are also based in Karachi, Pakistan.

Design a Logo for Nations Online by ichimi
Nations Online is a small browser-based 4X game. 4X is a genre of strategy-based video and board games in which players control an empire and "eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate". In particular the game is influenced by games like Civilization (latest game http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilization_V).
The game has a strong multiplayer focus, but can also be played alone. The goal is to grow your own nation by founding cities, constructing buildings and land improvements, researching technologies and waging war with other nations and other parties. The most important buildings apart from basic infrastructure are the World Wonders which offer unique bonuses and are based on actual historical world wonders (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonders_of_the_World), such as the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Temple of Artemis and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
The game takes place on a hexagonal grid (see screenshot1.jpg for a screenshot of an early prototype of the game). The interaction between players revolves around fighting (war), trading and politics. The game can be won by achieving different goals such as scientific, military or cultural dominance.
I need a logo for the game that will be displayed prominently on the login page (see screenshot.jpg for current text-only "logo"). The logo will also be displayed smaller in other places. The new logo should consist of the text "Nations Online", possibly decorated / with a modified font, and a symbol that is relatively simple (not too many details). I have no particular ideas regarding color. But it should probably work with the background image in screenshot.jpg.
Relevant keywords that could be used for inspiration for the overall design of the logo: Hexagons, Pyramid, Greek, Roman or Chinese Architecture, Columns, Famous Empires and Rulers. But I'd also be interested in other ideas!
