Think of the big movie studios. What comes to mind? Universal Pictures, Warner Brothers, Lionsgate, New Line Cinemaâ¦giant fanfare and epic animation. Tremendum Pictures is a movie studio and eventually this type of fanfare will precede our films. To get us started, we are looking for a fresh and big idea for a stand alone image that will represent Tremendum. What is a "Tremendum?" (Tre-men-dum) - "Is a feeling of awe associated with an overwhelming experience." This is what we hope to capture in our films and this is what we would like our logo to stand for.
We are looking for a logo that works as a symbol alone as well as with the written company name (ei. Nike and it's Swoosh they work together and independent of each other for brand recognition).
We like simple but Big (Like the Paramount mountain is a simple design but a big idea)
Most people aren't familiar with the word Tremendum so it would be nice to associate it something people already know (Something big, exciting, awe inspiring) however, we aren't opposed to a new type of Symbol that is original that will grow with the brand (ei. Legendary's logo). (Prize: 200)

I need a logo designed for the music group "Rough Seas". The logo must contain "Rough Seas" in it and preferably an anchor or pirate ship unless the word design is compelling enough. The logo should be menacing and evoke feelings of aggression, danger, and the force of a storm at sea. Earlier logos had large anchors forming part of the words. A sinking ship with the words was another interesting idea. Attached is a ship that somewhat reflects the feeling of rough seas. I have an android application, it is very simple, it calculate the % off of a price but the appeareance is really ugly. I want you to create a look great UI for my app.
It is simple, it should contain a place to type the price, a place to type the % off and show results as $ saved and the discounted price. Also have to contain an area to show recent calcs and a list mode, ie, item 1, price, % off, result, item 2, price, % off, result, item 3, price, % off, result, and the total result of all items.
I have 3 pages, page 1 for calculate, page 2 for show recent calcs and page 3 for show list mode, but you can change it as you like, I am open to suggestions.
