Corporate Identity for a CEMENT FACTORY by ddbp
Our client is one of the three big cement factories in Hungary, called: HCM, which wants to build up its corporate design.
The company has no current design materials in use because it is restarting now the cement production after several decades of being stopped. You can see the old logo they use and which should be re-designed:

The new logo should use two text elements.
- the brand name: HCM
- and a tag line: A MAGYAR CEMENT (which means: The Hungarian Cement)
While HCMâs competitors are multi-national, global cement companies, HCM is the only Hungarian-owned, national cement company in the country, funded in 1890. Hungarian national identity (vs. multi-national) and the old tradition are important differentiating factors for HCMâs brand identity.
The design challenge is that HCMâs new brand design should fulfil two requirements at the same time:
1) It should express HCMâs core brand values, which are:
- Hungarian national identity,
- long tradition rooted in the past.
2) It should be compatible and competitve on the contemporary cement market.
HCM's competitors are these (you can check them by Google):
- Holcim
- HeidelbergCement
- Lafarge
- Cemex
Some background info for designers:
- Hungarian national flag is a tricolor of three horizontal stripes, from top to down: red-white-green. These colors are prefered to be used somehow in the new design, as main colors, or just as an add-on little tricolor flag or in any creative way).
- There is an ancient symbolic animal of Hungary: a falcon/eagle with open wings (You can see that in HCMâs current logo at the link above. If you plan to use this bird as a symbol in the new logo, it is preferable to apply a fresher and easier appearance to it.)

I need a sticker that says "I Left Thane Here". There needs to be emphasis on the word "Thane" so perhaps make it a different color. The sticker needs to be very creative.

Car branding by djfg
We have our company logo (attached) and need an idea / design to brand our agents' cars using the logo and our tag line.
Our agents use small white vehicles like VW Polo. We want our company logo to go on the car (maybe on front door) and our tag line somewhere (maybe on back door). The designs will have to go on both sides of the car as well as on the back.
Also included must be the agent's name and mobile number.
The tag line is WE'LL HELP YOU EARN MORE NOW! or you can just use EARN MORE NOW! and we would like it to be in the same colours as the company logo. Any suitable style can be used eg upper case, lower case, mix of the two, etc as long as it goes nicely with the logo. Because we are a financial services company we'd like the design to be clean style. You can do the tag line in logo style or anyway you think.
The font we used for logo is Syncopate but as stated, you can use any style you think works well with logo.
So in summary: we want the logo as it is uploaded, the tag line and our agent's name and mobile number on both sides of a white car and on the back.

Edit the logo...This needs to look unique so a few changes need to be made.
1. The belly to the right of the front legs: make that one solid line instead of 3 broken ones as seen. Make it unique and stylish, don't just connect the line. Perhaps it can curve. Whatever you think looks good.
2. The lips: edit them a bit so they don't look the same.
4. Try making the eyes look more aggressive. I may not keep this change but I want to see.
5. Make the tail slightly different, curve other directions perhaps.
6. Make one copy of completed image w/ colors as is.
7. Make second copy of completed image w/ swapped colors. That is, make the bull black and the horns pink. (Prize: 40)
