Hello and thanks for reviewing this contest.
The upcoming information site The Lookout will provide financial, tax, and business information in a multimedia format. Cartoons can say some things in just the right way. Satire and an attitude are recommended.
The winning artist will be asked to do 6-10 cartoons a month (maybe more) some with two or three panels but most will be single panels. After this I am willing to pay $20 - $35 USD per cartoon. I am willing to pay more if the artistic interpretation and drawing style are worth it.
Facial expressions are the most important.
I have included a sample cartoon which shows a good example of what I want. Your drawing and coloring style will be different and may the best person win.

Cartoon One âBudgetingâ
Older man around fifty years old wearing a dark suit is sitting at desk. Face is on desk (sideways down in arms -discouraged look) as he is looking at over sized computer screen next to him on the desk which the viewer can see. Screen has a chart that shows graph with numbers 1 to 20 on left side and 1 to 10 on bottom - left hand side title 'Amount' bottom line says 'days' - but beside the word days is the word 'months' with a line thru the word months' - 4 different colour lines on graph each going steeply up and down from left to right about 5 times across the page. Title on top of graph is " stock market, gas prices, exchange rates`, tax rates'. The secretary (standing in front of desk sideways so we can see her profile and side of face) says to man [balloon - " Having trouble budgeting for next week sir?"]
Cartoon Two âVisualizationâ
Executive facing front (viewer) seen in his chair behind desk and he is reclining with eyes closed, face expression neutral own, and his feet on desk. Feet are on top of a book (book has title we can see 'tax return visualization 101'). We can see the bottom of the soles of his shoes. There are words on the soles of his shoes -left hand sole has word 'too' right hand sole has word 'high'. We see secretary in room - she is on her cell phone and she is saying into cell phone - [balloon - "He can't talk right now - he's visualizing signing the company tax return"] (Prize: 40)

Design a Logo for Faith Greenhouses by drildarwan
Looking for a professional, clean and eye catching logo design for my Garden Center.
I am open to creative freedom on this contest but nothing that is too much of a niche preference (bubble letters, highlighter colors etc). I would like the logo on a white backdrop, other than that anything goes. As a side note the storefront is hunter green so this color could tie in nicely in some way if the artist chose to.
I also need the name of my company, Faith Greenhouses to be in the logo. I don't want any religious crosses in the logo. The primary product at the Garden Center is of course various types of flowers and to a lesser degree trees and vegetables. I ideally want someone who looks at the logo to know what type of business we are. I have posted some pictures of the greenhouse to give an idea of what we sell.

2. Me gustarÃa que la U destacara de alguna forma en un color diferente, un luto o algo por el estilo, lo que mas guste, diseño libre
3. La tipografÃa es muy importante, no os estanquéis en una probar varias. preferimos tipografÃas sans-serif
4. Lo mas importante: queremos que un loro sea nuestra mascota (un loro sencillo, nada recargado, una silueta un dibujo a trazos, con los colores de la marca o quizás alguno más) ver la forma quizás de añadirlo en la tipografÃa. Apoyado en la O de BOIZU por ejemplo o en solitario. Estilo libre también
5. Queremos un diseño minimalista, que no simple, uno claro
6. Nuestro público: Boizu va dirigido a un público joven de entre 15 y 23 años aproximadamente. Si tuviéramos que encajar el logo en un formato, no queremos que sea excesivamente serio pero tampoco excesivamente infantil. No es un logo para una pagina de negocios, ni un logo para una pagina de niños pequeños. Es un logo para adolescentes y muy jóvenes y tiene que ir acorde a su estilo.
7. Finalmente los colores: Hemos decidido trabajar con el NARANJA, GRIS OSCURO, NEGRO Y BLANCO (como fondo).

3. The typography is very important: please don't get stuck in one and try multiple, we prefer sans-serif typographies
4. The most important: We would like a parrot to be our "mascot" (simple parrot, nothing overloaded, silhouette of a picture with the brand colors or maybe something else that could fit) and see the way to add it to the typography: Over the O of BOIZU for example o by itself alone. Also free style
5. We want a minimalistic design, not simplistic, just clear
6. Our public: Boizu is going to be directed to a young public between 15 and 23 yr old approximately. The title of the book is "7 Biblical Signs Of The End Times" and the author is " Marvin Pate"
The general idea we have for it is to have something similar to the image attached with the title in big bold letters so that it stands out well (but please do not copy the image). The design should look nice and be readable in a size as small as 75-100px tall. The author name does not need to be readable in the small size though.
