Looking for an animation to represent communication and travel across planet Earth. Please take a look at the attached video for an example of the kind of thing I'm looking for. Don't copy it, but draw inspiration from it.
Rather than blue, I would like the lines to be an orangey/yellow colour (with a slight glow) and they should be solid rather than dashed. They should also be about 50% thinner so they're not so thick. The camera should start relatively close like in the example and gradually pull out so the Earth fills about 80% of the vertical frame.
I think the speed of rotation and the speed of the lines forming is too fast in the example video... maybe slow it down by about 50% or so. No need to show a full rotation of the globe, but most of it would be good. Maybe start with Australia and end when we get to North America or something. No need to cover the Pacific.
The sun should be a very slight hint of orange/yellow as well. Not really saturated, but just not blue like in the example. The number of locations/lines in the example is about right. Smooth camera moves, a nice starfield in the background, no Moon or anything. No need for the lines to reflect on the ocean. Looking for the Earth to be quite realistic, but with muted colours like in the example. No bright green parts or anything.
Final deliverable: 1920x1080 progressive, 29.97fps, Quicktime Photo JPG, 75% quality. Bonus points if you can deliver as a 2880x1620 file, but quality is more important than resolution. Let me know in the comments if your entry will be provided at 1080p or 1620p.
As I'll be using these in my stock renders, I need to have full ownership of the final video, so it needs to be entirely your own work. May have need for additional space related videos, animations and 3D modelling in the future if you're interested, but we'll start with this contest and see how it goes.

Create an Animation Explanation for Flour Particle Sizes - Must understand Geometry by branttucker
The following script is talking about flour used to make bread. The size of the particles of the flour is different depending on how it is processed. Please read the script and make an animation for it. I need your help in explaining this concept. Use any creativity to explain it. Use actual text and numbers and arrows in the animation if necessary. I will put a voice over on it later. Please see attachment for further explanation.
Here is the script or idea:
Did you know that the particle size (diameter) of a stone-ground (hand-milled) grain particle is 10 times larger (~100 microns) than a powdered (dust) grain particle from flour (~10 microns)? In terms of volume, flour particles are 1000X smaller than hand-milled particles. The total surface area of 1g of powdered wheat flour is 10X more than the surface area of 1g of hand-milled wheat flour.
The rate at which the powder can dissolve, break down, absorb into the blood stream, and spike blood insulin levels is 10X faster than that of stone-ground wheat. The rate at which carbohydrates are absorbed into the blood stream depends on how fast they can be broken down by digestive enzymes. The more surface area is available, the more opportunities these enzymes will have to attach to the carbohydrate and break it into it's digestable parts, and the faster they will do it.
Increased surface area (and smaller particle size) also allows water and fluids to more easily dissolve the substance.
Almost all dust powdered flours are also made of only the endosperm of the grain and does not include the bran. Taking all the fiber (bran) out decreases the GI (Glycemic Index) by concentrating all the starchy part of the grain. Non-powdered whole grains are good! Dust powdered processed flours are bad and the cause insulin issues, low grade chronic inflammation, and rheumatic diseases.
The dramatically increased surface area created by pulverizing the grain plays huge and underrated role in the glycemic index and toxicity of powdered grains. Structure determines Function.
The pulverization of grains may be a confounder or lurking variable in the assumption that "grains cause inflammation".
Grains don't cause inflammation. Pulverization causes inflammation. (Prize: 200)

I don't want the logo to be all airy fairy. It needs to be sharp, and very eye catching. I like white on black. Or red, white and black. I am targeting the male population so it needs to look masculine but not too aggressive.

Living room, kitchen and dining room should be a single unit and can be multifunctional. The kitchen should contain refrigerator, stove, dishwashers, sink and work top. Design a Logo for new Business by AMS2012
Hi,
I would like to have a logo designed for our new business. Our business is Rocky Mountain Aerial, and we are video producers using drones/UAVs to shoot video from the air. We may also do some aerial photography. Our website is rockymountainaerial.com, although it is still under construction.
We'd like a logo that communicates multi-rotor drones, specifically (also called multicopters, quadcopters, hexcopters, etc), so that our customers know we use drones and not full-size helicopters or airplanes. Perhaps using swirling rotors as part of the graphic? It's up to you.
You can incorporate text into the logo if you want to; the name of the business or acronym RMA if you like.
Since Rocky Mountain is in the name, you may also want to use mountain peaks as part of the logo (although this isn't required).
It should be clean and simple. We'd like it to be monochromatic, as we will probably need a white version and a black version of the logo for different purposes (letterhead, business cards, etc). Our thought was maybe a burnt orange or reddish orange, but again this is up to your creativity and design.
Finally, we would like vector files so that we can resize them to fit anywhere.

This contest will lead to future ones that will pay more. On the future contest I'll upload one sample from this contest then let y'all create designs accordingly.
Ok, here's the deal. Hopefully this will be the SIMPLEST job you'll probably ever encounter cause the work is basically done for you.
I have four designs that I made up and sent to a printing company but they weren't able to open the JPG files. Each design is geared toward a disease, cancer, etc. The dimensions of the pillow cases are 20x30 (in case you need to know). If you can add some kind of pizazz to each design without going over the three colors per design, it would be greatly appreciated. (Oh, if your "pizazz" would look better than the art -I use the term loosely- that's already there, feel free to make changes)
The following rules MUST be applied!
* No more than 3 colors per design (a chart of accepted colors will be uploaded)
* It must be VECTOR so the printing company can break it down and resize.
* Files to send it include AI, PSD, PDF, and INDD
