We need a logo that will be used on business cards, website, letterhead and more. We haven't yet settled on primary colors for the company we are considering making the shirts red (or blue) and the logo will be embroidered into the shirts. We are an aviation company, specializing in flight training. We teach students in mostly high wing aircraft (google Cessna 172). I'm thinking of something along the lines that involves writing out the company name and perhaps using airplanes to dot the i's in Pilotsmith or something else. I really want designers to use their imagination though when thinking.
Logo should use the companies "short" name of Pilotsmith or possibly the abbreviation of the company PS. It should NOT include ", Inc."

Create a 5 to 10 Second Video by StencilMedia
Hello!
Looking for a 5 to 10 second video to represent travel through a wormhole. Must be seamlessly looped so the clip can be duplicated and repeated several times without a noticeable join.
Take inspirations from, although don't necessarily copy, the wormholes from Stargate:

Your video can represent travelling in a straight line, or have a subtle twisting and curving effect like in the examples, whatever you prefer. No specific requirement for colours at this point, go with whatever you feel looks best... although some kind of two or three-tone variation on blue, green, purple, yellow seems to work well.
It doesn't have to be exactly like the examples in the video... if you can come up with something that suitably represents travel through a wormhole, that looks as good as (or better than), the example videos... then it doesn't really matter exactly what it looks like.
Would be nice to see some subtle stars moving in the background (outside of the tunnel), like in the Stargate versions.
Final deliverable: 3840x2160, 29.97fps, seamlessly looped, Quicktime Photo JPEG, 75% Quality, 5 to 10 seconds.

Design an awesome logo by ditdogg
Symbolism: The symbols that i want to incorporate are:
1) Microphone - (a professional radio quality mic because its a talk show). This would be at the center of the logo.
2) 7 colors (Violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, red) - these symbolize the 7 chakras of the human body because the topics discussed during the show would typically be around alternative healing practices like yoga and energy healing. This could be like flames around the microphone.
3) Optional- a spirit tree could also be included though i'm not sure how it would look with the mic and the rainbow flames. (sample idea image attached)
4) Optional- Lotus that symbolizes conviction to rise above your circumstances and achieve success. Again, i don't know how this would fit into the ultimate logo. It could be either the lotus or the tree.
I dont want to the logo to look too cluttered. It has to be simple, intuitive and easy to understand.
Style:
The style of the logo should be clean and crisp with bold strokes and not thin lines running all over.
Typography: I want the word 'My Seven Chakras' printed on the logo in bold. The text must be visible from afar, so the font has to be clear and bold.
Color:
The rainbow flames that i have in mind have to be VIBGYOR colors and surrounding the microphone icon.

What is the purpose of the logo project? To establish a fresh new brand and to inspire people.
Target Audience:
Who are your readers/viewers/customers?
The people who listen to this talk show would be people working the 9 to 5. People who are stressed, tired and bored of their daily jobs. However these people aren't aware of yoga, meditation, and how those practices could reduce stress.
The logo should be vibrant, inspiring, awakening and fresh. Hence, there should be a clear reference to a microphone because its a talk show.
The flames around the mic would symbolise boldness and conviction to take action and not shy away.
Distribution:
The logo would be used on a website and maybe used on business cards.
The resolution has to be at least 1400x1400 upto a max of 2048x2048.
Creative Considerations:
I have attached a folder containing some images and logos that could be used as inspiration for my logo. However, fresh ideas are also welcome to inspire new concepts and alternatives.
Most Important Point:
Is there something specific the viewer should remember about the company after seeing the logo? Ans: Human revolution. The show would be about creating a human revolution in every individual, so that he or she could look beyond their circumstances or constraints, get inspired/motivated and get energised to achieve their goals.
Hence, the flames must represent the power to overcome fear and take action boldly. (Prize: 50)

I need some Graphic Design for a book cover for a Young Adult Fantasy novel by JessSc01
I am looking for a cover illustrator to design covers for my nine book Fantasy series. This competition is for a rough draft of the cover for book 1 with the selected entry to be developed to the final draft for an extra payment and hopefully to continue for the full series. I need a design that can be modified to fit all nine covers to give continuity to the look of the series.
I am publishing by e-book so I need it to look appealing at a thumbnail size and in black and white as well as colour. The book titles are colour themed with the first book called "A Swirl of Purple". Chapter 1 of the book is attached to give you an idea of the characters. In my mind's eye I see the cover as having the three children standing in front of the purple vortex, but I am not limiting entries to that and will go with whatever cover appeals to me most. I have added character profiles for the main characters from book 1. Full draft of book 1 available on request.
The book is going to be available as print on demand as well as ebook so I will need the spine and back included in the cover design. It is a large book ~500 pages so the spine will have room for creativity. (Prize: 190)
