topic: Gelsenkirchen (more people know this city due to the soccer club Schalke 04)
Attached you can find the official sign of the city Gelsenkirchen.
It is forbidden to use the claim Schalke or Schalke 04 or S04. We can only use the word Gelsenkirchen.

Illustrate a design for a mandala beach towel. by brookeokane94
I would like a design for a round beach towel.
I have 3 different ideas in mind so feel free to try only 1 or all.
I will definitely be picking at least 1 design or maybe a few.
Must be high quality so it can be printed on a 150cm beach towel .
Idea 1:
Make a design the same or similar to the attached file. Must have same colours (blue and turquoise) Must be round.
Idea 2:

d> Ability to set up different values of config per user against each config list.

Ability to load/save it somewhere.

Design a Logo for a Air Purifier and Humidifier Brand by smartproducts
Our brand is called "Air-n-mist" and we manufacturer and sell portable humidifiers, air purifiers, and aroma diffusers for uses in small spaces, traveling, and interiors of cars. Examples of similar products of what we produce are below.
Requirements
We would like a logo and accompanying "Air-n-mist" brand text that is:
- Logo: Simple and can be used as brand recognition without the name. It should be self recognisable such as the Nike swish or Apple symbol without the name of the company
- Text: "Air-n-mist" brand text with small textual design that can be used without the logo
- Conveys the message of cleanliness and healthy
- Includes natural element looks
- Looks good in small and big size (not too many details)
- Looks good with colour or without colour (black and white only)
- Colours: please limit the use of colours to 2-3 colours (not including black and white) and include the RGB codes for each colour used
- Looks good on dark and light backgrounds
- Can be used as watermark

Thank you for taking part in 1st part of it and we would be very happy if you take part in second contest.

Here is how our team voted on them:

Now we need to enhance them and to make 1 corporate identity from these 3 works.
VERY IMPORTANT:
1) do not change the man on logo
2) stick to red colour (also can be black, white and grey variations)
3) use texture
4) use more or less the shape similar to these three logos

Now the comments - what you need to do:
1) People like gradient on 1st logo. Could you please add it on 2ND/3RD logos?
2) People don't like that the texture is too weak on 1st logo. We need to add more texture there or make it bigger (like on 2nd and 3rd logos)
3) People tend to like 2nd logo more than 3rd. Especially the shape of 2nd logo.
4) People like the font and tagline (slogan) under the 1st logo. (our original fonts used in 2nd and 3rd logos are not likable).
5) Black+red combination (http://screencast.com/t/DGDFSj1E) is very controversial. Half people like it. The other half don't.
We guess it is good for some occations. But we would like to have two alternatives - the main (white) and the reserve (black).

We are a startup company building a knowledge database covering materials and production processes for the industry.
Through this competition we hope to find someone to create up to 500 illustrations of different production techniques as a part of the database.
Because of the massive amount of illustrations we guess that a 3D-modelling combined with "Illustration-feeling- rendering" will be the most effective way to produce these pictures.
If you are good at 3D-modelling but have the lack of the "Illustration-feeling-rendering"-skills please send us your entries since the rendering could be handled by another person as a second step.
This doesn't mean that we do not want to have entries from illustrators since they have other benefits that might prove to be more important than effectiveness.
