Illustrate a concept for football club mascots by samdwyer80
NEEDED: A creative visionary to bring to life a concept for a team of mascots for Melbourne Victory Football Club.
REQUIRED: A4/A3 size poster that brings to life 4 special characters who form "V Squad". Will be comic style and have all four characters posing with a logo design for "V Squad" as well as a small bio cell beneath each person explaining their name, position, abilities and who they represent (see below). In full color please.
This will be submitted to the club in their competition to find a club mascot. A group of 8-12 year old children will short list four candidates for the club members to vote on. I want to deliver engaging super hero characters that can be turned into real life mascots easily enough.

Inspiration: Jean Grey (X-Men); no particular person
ADDITIONAL NOTES: I have included some initial concept pieces. Would like Mel with arms folded, Ben and Tori with one hand giving V for Victory sign and Vic holding the bow and arrow in shooting position - but open to suggestions. In the bio cells I would like a slight emphasis on the Mel Burn Vic and Tori names.
BONUS POINTS: Special consideration will be given to entries with an additional one-page comic strip showing the characters in action (eg. Mel barking instructions, Burn speeding past his opponent, Vic scoring a goal, Tori acrobatically saving a shot). Preference in color but ink only will still be great.

Task: Design a logo for "myAUSLAN"
Background: AUSLAN is the official abbreviation for Australian Sign Language, which is the main language used by the Deaf Community throughout Australia.
"myAUSLAN" is a new business which will provide the following services: translations (from English to Auslan and vice versa), Auslan consultancy and educational courses in Auslan.
Purpose and uses of logo: The logo will form the basis of the business brand identity. It will be used on all stationery, website and other digital media, promotional materials including brochures and advertisements, course materials and other uses.
Design Guidelines:
1. Logo must convey the brand personality and values of the business: Professional, Helping, and Pride (in serving the Deaf Community).
2. The words "my" and "AUSLAN" must be positioned together as one word, but must also be differentiated through colour, font, case, or other means. Consider using a cursive font for "my" and a straighter, bolder font for "AUSLAN".
3. Preferred colours are: green, orange, purple and yellow. Definitely no blue.

A good friend of mine needs an awesome business card for her cosmetic business. She offers some kind of treatments, massages and sells beauty products. It would be nice if thereâs a touch of pink/rosy in the design, but please not too much.
The Headline on the frontside is âKosmetikâ and aside or beneath her name âSusanne Liewaldâ. Further below at the bottom of the frontside she wants to have her service written down: âGesichtsbehandlungenâ, âMassagenâ and âAugenbrauen & Wimpernâ.
On the back she wants to have the headline: âTermine nach Vereinbarung!â which means as much as âappointment by agreementâ and her adress: Street, town, phone number and email adress.
Of course I wonât post her full adress here, so please use some filler. The winner of the contest finally gets the right adress, so that he can use it fort he design.
The design should be âprint-readyâ.

This logo will be used for a financial company. As you can see there already exists a logo but it needs to look more professional.
The color that needs to stay is the one that I have given you the RGB code for and it will be used on the swish that is the same color as the text.
The only color that needs to stay the same is that swish. The lighter green one can be black or shades of gray as can ALL of the test.
Please understand that once the concept is accepted color variations will be requested so know that going into it. I have the actual Beanpot font if needed.
Also- for your information the âswishesâ are actually hockey sticks so use that information if you would like. Remember this is a financial site so the idea of hockey sticks âperhaps just the darker forward swishâ canât be TOO gaudy.
