- What is our business/company completely all about?
We are aiming to set up a fast-casual chain of Indian restaurants / outlets in the UK, serving high-quality, healthy Indian food that is easy to eat on the go and appeals to the Western customer. The market for Indian food in the UK is currently saturated with traditional "tandoori" curry-houses serving a curry based menu that is tailored for a sit-down dining experience. We hope to break this stereotype of Indian food and portray Indian food as healthy, quirky, fun, appealing and easy to eat through our menu and our brand.
We would also love to keep the "-" in the "chill-maar" logo if possible please.
It would also be great if you could kindly avoid using italics for the font in the text. Thank you!

Design a logo for an NPO by oskarsoderlund
I need a logo for an NPO.
The name of the NPO could be translated into "A new start" and aims on helping people who have just moved here to get a new start in Sweden. More specifically, to help them get a job here.
The logo should represent that things have been really bad but now they are getting much better. If it can be done nicely I would prefer to have a person/silhouette in the picture. However I give you all full artistic freedom, although it should be a bit serious.
Please post your suggestions and I'll comment on the best versions to that you can see what we're aiming for.

Packet Food Package Design by directorx10
Attached is the picture of the oatmeal packets as well as an original mock up that we would like to use as a template to create artwork for pouch products.
We would like to use these graphics as a template for plain white pouches ( also attached).
These will be 2 color with the Redmond Logo at the top of the checkerboard in black, the rest of the graphics will be all 1 color. We would also like to add a rough product sketch as they have done on the pouches.
We want a similar font as is on the pouches and no we do not need any French translation

ACES (All Children Exercise Simultaneously) Day is an international celebration of health that emphasizes physical activity among students and helps combat childhood obesity. The Michigan Fitness Foundation (MFF) organizes the ACES Day celebration in Michigan. Over 900 elementary and middle schools throughout the state of Michigan participate on the first Wednesday in May every year.
At the same time students are getting active in school, MFF hosts featured events at prominent venues throughout the state. This year, MFF will bus 1,000 students to each venue's stadium/sports arena--Michigan State University, University of Michigan, Northern Michigan University, Western Michigan University and Wayne State University. While there, student athletes lead the middle and elementary school students in physical activity on ACES Day.

The ACES Day logo needs to be updated to better represent the event. As it is a statewide program, we'd like to highlight Michigan in some way within the logo--whether it's titled MI ACES, Michigan ACES or the graphic uses a Michigan landmark. "All Children Exercise Simultaneously" does not need to be spelled out in the logo, however we would like it to say "ACES" or "ACES Day."
This logo does not have to feature any of the Michigan Fitness Foundation's colors. However, we'll need both a color and black and white version. (Prize: 400)

Consiglio is a North America-focused social networking site to bring together individuals wishing to form, join, or manage mastermind groups (aka accountability groups, aka networking groups) to support common goals.
The word "consiglio" is an Italian word that. in English, means both "council" and "advice". Both of these words are relevant to the service. Members will create their own council of peers, with whom they will share and seek advice.
The target audience for my site is both men and women aged 25 to 45. Therefore, something that is more mature and more luxurious is preferred over something youthful and simplistic.
You may feel free to propose colors and do not need to adhere to colors currently being used on the website. The logo should be done in flat coloring (if color is used) rather than gradient. Preference may be given to a design which looks good in color (if used) AND in black and white or grayscale.
You may use the name Consiglio in the design, if you wish, but it is not a requirement.
The winning contestant will be required to provide source files in a vector scaleable format. You will also be required to provide the logo in up to five sizes in JPG or PNG formats. You are not permitted to use any stock or clip images for which an additional value must be paid.
