The aim of this contest is to produce an editable MS Word ".doc" document with a fresh and professional design to be used as the template for the User's Guide of a software application. The document may use simple "lorem ipsum" text as content. As a reference, the topic of the software is "finance, risk and investments" and the Word document will be distributed as a PDF file.
The design should include at least a cover page (with space for the logo of the company, the name of the software, copyright information, legal disclaimer and the version), appropriate heading styles (3 levels), body text style, paragraph margins, backgrounds (where appropriate), text boxes design, tables design, bulleted text design, image caption style and footnotes design. We are a startup skincare company and are trying to finalize a logo. After much deliberation and time/effort we are back to a very simple target as the basis of the logo, possibly surrounded by a box (see the skinceuticals logo for an example of a logo within a box). We want the logo to look clean and professional and want the graphic portion to be able to stand alone. We also want it to stand out from other companies using a similar logo such as the Target department store. We will be pairing the logo with text which will also be a simple, clean, and professional font - for the text portion just use the words 'skin care' and put it under the logo.. I have attached the likely bottle we will be using and we would like something that looks good on the white background with silver top - we like blues, orange, silver, etc. (Prize: 500)

Design Ad for New Mobility Magazine 2 by myralaw

An attorney I work for wants to place a half page color ad in New Mobility Magazine. The ad size is: width 7 inches, height 4.875 inches. We will need a high resolution PDF for the submission to the magazine.
New Mobility is a magazine for active wheelchair users. A pdf of the December 2015 issue is attached or you can access the magazine online at www.newmobility.com and click on E-mag to see what the magazine is like and for ad ideas. An ad like the one on p. 31 of the December 2015 issue (p. 33 of the pdf) is a good sample.
The final copy for the ad is attached. Use the copy however you like, but please include everything somewhere in the ad.
There are also 2 photos for the ad. Please use both photos. One effect the attorney liked in the prior entries was a faded background image behind dark text. He would like to use the photo with everyone in the office if you want to use that effect. You can crop the photos, but please keep the attorney and the wheelchair in the photo of him alone.
