Our small nonprofit organization, Hudson Valley Arts and Science, is looking for a logo. We want something that depicts our unusual mission of mixing environmental science and art. The environmental work we do involves stream ecology: fish, bugs, bacteria, salamanders, etc. The art is mostly related to finding old paintings and photographs involving the streams and the people that lived next to them and derived a living from them. But, we also do public art projects like sculpture parks.
We're looking for a logo and a color scheme that is fun or serious and useful on both stationary and memorable t-shirts. We want to hand out silk screened t-shirts to high school kids who do stream work with us. And we want them to look cool enough that they will actually wear them!
