We are on the verge of launching an online chat/avatar game, and need a skilled artist to do some graphical work for us. As the game is now, we have a sci-fi/alien theme that we are not pleased with. It is way too dark and serious.
Especially the avatars are important - as you create a user in the game, you start with a default avatar (either male or female), which is an alien right now. You can then acquire different sets of items and clothes to customize your character. This is why it is of great importance, that the default avatars themselves are of high graphical quality.
The new avatars need to be approximately the same size, perspective and eye/nose/mouth relation as the current avatars. They must have a transparent background. They cannot have any accessories (clothes, hair etc.) - they must be 'naked'. They MUST be human!
The current avatars can be viewed in the attached files (woman-ico.png + man-ico.png file).
We would like a low-res version (the resolution you see on the avatars now) and a high-res version, including the original source file (PSD or equivalent)
We already have very specific idea of what kind of style we want. We'd like them to be a blend of modern/photo-realistic/3D and oldschool/cartoon'ish/2D. We would like you to look at the style of the attached file (gtav.jpg (Image: GTA V, RockStar Games), as it reflects what we want in our avatars. (Prize: 135)
