PLEASE READ IN FULL! The website is essentially a Craigslist type website where accommodation providers can advertise their deal for free. They have to create an account, create a profile with accommodation images, amenities, rates, rating, reviews and more. Then they can post deals whenever they want. If they want to promote the deals on the website, they can with paid additional features. User to the site can also create an account where they can "favorite" certain deals and compare or email them. People can search for deals based on rating, discount, location, and more. The site is called Deal Cubby ( the "cubby" being where users can store their favorites) - play with that in the design if you like. I have attached a few examples I really liked for layout and design of the deal tiles and accommodation pages. Use these to go off of. While I like the layout, I want something that pops out without being over the top, the design has to be simple, aesthetic and appeal to a wide demographic (both men and women). I like the teal, but I'm not crazy about the light brown. CONTEST: 1) Homepage design: This should be focused on deals, no image slider, just deal tiles - see image attached for inspiration. The top of the page should have a paid promotion area where deals that have paid additionally are displayed. There should be a user-friendly search feature that allows users to narrow down search results. As well as, somewhere for users to "favorite" or store the deals. As well, the page should have clear call to action to sign-up for accommodation provider and user account information. Deals tiles should include a picture, brief description of offer, price/discount and an expiration date. Two links from the tile shoudl be "view this property" and "get this deal" with also an option to "favorite" the deal. I'd like to see a design where deals that are over 40% are especially highlights, maybe a different colour. 2) Property Profile Page: Property pages will have an overall description as well as any deals they currently have listed. See the design attached for layout and inspiration. ***Winner will need to provide layered PSD files and any font files so that I can give them to a developer*** Good Luck! ___________________________________________ ***I will also hire the winner for an additional $250 to mock-up the other pages listed below.*** Other Front-end pages: 1) Splash/gate page which asks the visitor for their name, email, location, and an opt-out if they want to receive deals emails for this location. 2) User compare/favorite area/page. FORM DESIGN: 3) Accommodation Sign-up page: This should have a form with basic accommodation info, including accommodation name, phone, email, location. 4) Profile Set-up: Accommodation details, pictures, property description, amenities, rating, link to tripadvisor reviews. 5) Deal Set-up: Deals are free to post and are up for 7 days, they include a picture, original price, discount, offer description, direct link to deal. Then there should be a section to upgrade the deal to include: in-site promotion ($10), 1x weekly highlight email ($10), extend expiration up to 30 days ($5), analytics ($5). (Prize: 200)
