Information regarding the job:
We are The Canadian Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths - a not-for-profit charitable foundation serving Canada's sudden, unexpected infant death community. We are seeking an english, french and potentially a third bilingual logo design for a new corporate name we will be using.
Key elements:
-our new brand name Baby's Breath for an english logo and Souffle de bébé for a french logo, and if design allows, a bilingual version of this same logo would be ideal as well
-2 versions of each logo, one full-colour process and one black and white
- we require all rights to the ownership and use of the design materials selected as the winner of this competition
Information regarding the client:
We are the Canadian Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths. Since 1973 we have advocated for and supported Canada's infant death community. Recently, we have made the decision to also be known as Baby's Breath for our english market and Souffle de bébé for our french market. This decision was made in order to become more accessible to our community and potential supporters.
Vision: To end all sudden unexpected infant deaths.
Mission: To prevent sudden and unexpected infant deaths, stillbirths and miscarriages.
We:
- Advocate for and support research
- Share information
- Provide bereavement support to families
Core values:
- Compassion
- Respect
- Accountability and transparency
- Inclusiveness
- Engagement
- Trust
- Support
Additional information related to our foundation is available on our website: www.sidscanada.org
We also now own the following urls that will correspond with our new brand names / logos:
www.babysbreathcanada.ca
www.souffledebebe.ca
Note: For anyone interested, please note that Baby's Breath is a registered company under our banner Canadian Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths. Because of this, it is not necessary to include the words Canadian Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths in the logo design. Also - our french translation is obvisouly not copying in correctly to our job posting above. I have contacted service and hope to have that fixed shortly. (Prize: 440)
