Let me introduce our new venture, Ominor. Ominor is a high-tech big data and predictive analytics startup. While we are in the process of designing and engineering our product, we are working to create a predictive data platform that can analyze and understand data better for companies, government and people around the world.
Anyway.... to the logo stuff! We are looking for two types of logos to use. Essentially, we would like an actual logo that is separate from the name and then also a logo that is just the name but in a creative, but professional font. As many companies use both their names and separate logos, this is what we are looking to do (feel free to message if you'd like more details or this appears confusing to you).
The style of the logo (both logo and font) should be a very simplistic, but appealing design. Logos that may be good to reference are Airbnb's, Sqaurespace, Uber.... you should get the idea. However, this is a technology company dealing with companies not social media users so it should also appear professional not flashy.
Finally, our color scheme is Dark Grey/Black, White and Lighterish Blue (in such order of relevance).

3D Model of Statue â 1000 USD if Used by vilacorp
We are seeking a talented 3D artist for a high polygon model output in STL. (The model will later be translated to gcode to produce a CNC-milled foam version of a statue.) The winning contest design is guaranteed $100; however, if we actually use your design for our project, we will award a $1000 prize and will credit your design work in a memorial plaque that accompanies the statue (to be placed in Venice, California).
There are two main criteria for this contest: 1.) Artistic Vision, and if we actually use your model for the final sculpture, 2.) Model Cleanliness (meaning the solid model should be free of holes and ready for CAM software translation).
The final statue will stand 8â-6â high, so detailing (polygon count) should be appropriate to that scale. The subject is Giordano Bruno, a Dominican monk who was burned at the stake in 1600 for believing (among other now-proven things) that the Earth revolved around the sun, and that the stars were actually suns with their own planets. Bruno refused to recant his beliefs, and was put to death for his âheresy.â You can read more about Bruno in this Wikipedia entry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giordano_Bruno.
A statue memorializing Bruno (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statue_of_Giordano_Bruno ) was completed in 1889, and stands in the Campo deâ Fiori in Rome. We would like you to use this statue as inspiration for a new statue, either very similar to the original, or a re-interpretation of it. You might, for instance, convey some of his story through his stance. Some possible ideas to start you on your way: A change in his facial expression; Having an arm/arms raised; Holding something related to science/cosmology; Alluding to science with abstractions, like Fibonacci patterns covering his cloak; Using his statue as a sundial; etc. The primary goal is to convey his interest in, and defense of, science. How you model this story is up to you.
One note, the statue model should include a small plinth for Bruno to stand on, roughly 6â tall on the 8â-6â final statue.
