Design inthesoil logo by inthesoil
I run a music blog called "inthesoil" that focus on discovering upcoming talents in hip-hop. We have started developing rough sketches for a logo. I attached 3 pictures here for inspiration.
What's most important to me is a modest, earthy theme. We're looking to spell out "in the soil" in some way (as exemplified with roots in attached pics- roots seem to be a fitting feature for this logo). We were experimenting with the image of a heart being included somewhere/somehow, but subtly, not dominating the image. A combination of brown and green would be preferred, along with hints of red and black. Feel free to also present something creatively different, though our direction is generally preferred, and also feel free to experiment with the colors.
