For a startup aiming to make procurement processes more efficient, a prototype for a future more advanced website is required. It should have minimum the following functionality (in no specific order):
- Front page with general information, success stories and pricing.
- Create profile, login, administer own profile and settings.
- Payment by VISA, Mastercard or by invoice.
- Search in list of companies and consultants.
- Give rating to companies and consultants.
- See list of competencies of consultants
- See list of core area of expertize for companies
- See list of recommended software, perform filtering.
- See companies with expertize/experience for selected software
- Contact info for companies and consultants
- Support conversation/messages between client and companies/consultants
- Create tender/job to be performed
- Support offers from companies / consultants
- Create procurement document based on templates
- Create contract based on tender, offer and conversations
I also need a simple backend-solution to allow me to make changes/edits texts and images, and possibility to import data to the database(s).
As I am no fan of big specifications up front, I expect the process with the Freelancer to be agile and that other possibilities will arise and that alternative solutions with be chosen where necessary.
The solution should be responsive, that means work just as well on mobile devices and tablets as on website.
The solution including all used components must be possible to host with a Norwegian provider.
I expect that one or more database will be necessary and that standard open-source solutions like Wordpress or Joomla can be used as the basis for this prototype. If the solution is scalable and secure, it might just be that the prototype ends up as the final solution.
