We have a 15 year old company with an original logo that was created 15 years ago and has seen a couple of slight changes, in the tagline and in the colors, slightly.
We would like to rebrand our company look to have a logo that is more dynamic, with a smarter look. We like the current color scheme but we are not attached to it.
The company was traditionally handling computer security and the logo is a shape of a key hole from 50 years ago, not everyone today knows what keyholes used to look like.

Logo for Norwegian metal festival by thomaspresthus
Tønsberg Metalfest is the first occurrence of a new metal festival happening in Tønsberg, Norway. We need a great logo to use on our website, posters and other marketing material.
The festival consists of 3 concerts in an evening. As it's a metal music festival, the logo should be inspired by the logos you see for typical metal bands.
The festival takes place in Tønsberg, Norway's oldest city. Known as a Viking capitol. It would be great if the logo takes on some inspiration from our viking heritage. The city is also known by its landmark - the Slottsfjell Tower (see attached pictures). Inspiration can be taken from this as well.
In summary, the logo needs to be easy readable and recognizable. It should take the shape of a metal music logo, and inspired by our viking city.
The logo should be in vector format (ai, eps, svg) and single color. It should work equally good black-on-white as white-on-black. The text in the logo should be "Tønsberg Metalfest". (Prize: 190)
