What would you like to communicate to the designers?
I'd like something that conveys simplicity, value (expensive but not luxurious) and professionalism. Something with the shape below might be cool (text inside or outside the shape). Feel free to try other ideas though. The logo could either be a positive or negative outline.

Design a logo for Alberto's Mexican Restaurant. Alberto's is a moderately priced Mexican restaurant in the vacation town in Big Sky, Montana, USA. Therefore, most of our customers will be seeing our sign for the first time and may only dine with us once on their vacation. Our logo needs to let people know that we are a Mexican restaurant without seeing the words! This can be done with use of color (green, red, white) and/or with Mexican symbols. Some of our favorite symbols are the Tenochtitlan (cactus as a symbol for Mexico City) and the pyramid (Aztec or Mayan, but not Egyptian). Design a Brochure for my Awards Company by Griffiths270
Target Audience: We're an awards company who want to grow our business. We want this brochure to target marathon runners/organizers, youth sport leagues (little league, basketball leagues, soccer, etc), boy scouts, and large, organized events. The town we're located in puts an extremely large emphasis on purchasing from local businesses, and I want it apparent that we're a local, family run business. I want to target those with active lifestyles, preferably people between Late 20's through early 50's.
Visual Style: Our logo is black and gold. As such, I'd like that to be the predominant colors, however I'm open to other accent colors or designs. I can add in pictures/images later, however I am open to designers adding in stock photos or generic/custom award images. NO SHABBY CHIC!
This brochure needs to be a tri-fold brochure. I'd like the front of the brochure to feature our logo with the phrase "Trophies, Plaques, Medals, and More!" along with a small section which should contain the following text:"A-1 Discount Trophies is a local, family run specialty awards retailer located in Charlottesville, Virginia. As part of our commitment to serving Central Virginia, we provide free delivery within a 45 mile radius of Charlottesville and free personalization on all of our products. Our family believes in the value of hard work and with that in mind we don't ask you to give us your business. Instead, we ask to be allowed to earn it! We look forward to serving you."
Of the 3 inner folds: 1 fold will contain information pertinent to "Trophies", 1 to "Medals", 1 to "Plaques", . A 4th fold ( on the back of the "Plaques" fold) will be dedicated to "Other Awards". The "Other Awards" fold will face away, or be on the back off the brochure, when it is completely open. I'm open to 3 distinct inner folds, or a common theme/image across the inside 3. Or another design.
Finally, the back of the brochure (on the back of the "Medals" fold) should contain the following text:"Here at A-1 Discount Trophies, we have over 15 years of award making experience. I need a simple hat designed (pixel art?) for a 2D MMORPG. by Sliq
Hi. I am a player on GraalOnline Classic (http://classic.graalonline.com/). My guild is the very first to reach 10,000 total hours of holding forts (similar to CTF) on the game, and administration are rewarding us with our very own in-game hat. I'd like for a promising pixel artist or graphic designer to set that up for me!
Please check the game out for 5 minutes so you understand the art style. Attached (template.png) is the template that the hat must fit to. It includes the default head style, which the hat's dimensions should be designed towards. Also attached (examples.rar) are several existing hat examples, just so you know how a hat's finished product looks.
Lastly attached (request.png) is a hat very similar to what I am requesting. The hat must be an animated GIF. I would like it extremely similar to the attached hat, except I want the flames to be animated, as you would expect flames to be. Do not simply edit the attached hat! Please make a new, similar hat from scratch that matches up to the template and fits with the GraalOnline style. There are several issues with the attached hat, which is why I'm not simply using it.
I've also attached a third-party application application (graalviewer2.7.exe) that will allow you to test and see what multiple views of your hat looks like on a real Graal sprite. The executable is 100% clean. It's optional to run this. If you'd prefer I run it to check alignment and such, I can do that.

Web Redesign Selection: Submit 2 project pages
smarp.com is an entertainment site about celebrity sightings and news with many pictures and map information available.
Designer should feel free to propose new color code and fonts. Logo and icon will be adjusted or completely changed if needed.
Designer should submit design proposition for two pages of the site: home page and any event page (click on any sighting).
Based on those submission, Smarp will select one designer for all the site and produce design, icons, and style sheets for the whole site.
Final design and style sheets should support web and mobile with various screen sizes so only designers able to produce so should submit samples.

I. Home Page for www.smarp.com
1/ Most of the page is used to present encapsulated sightings in columns (number of columns variable depending screen size).
2/ Most capsules contain sightings but some capsules may contain the top story of the day, or top sightings or some advertising (so there is a possibility to differentiate the capsules). It is recommended to propose ONE wider capsule to promote one (or several with automated scroll) trending story or sighting.
3/ Sightings and stories can be sorted in different ways (chronology by default)
4/ Some ad reserved space on top (possibly but not necessarily on the side as we already encapsulate some)
5/ We are working on cropping the images so call capsules could have the same height. The capsule width needs to be 300 px to support ad.
6/ Sightings (and top day story) in capsule with:
o picture (could be cropped to fit one size or set of sizes or left as is)
o title (up to 250 char)
o description (up to 250 char)
o date (friendly format or not)
o source, link and logo for the source
o limited sharing options (extended in detailed sighting page)
o flags
o like action and number of likes
o tags: by default name and location and when applicable: venue type, celebrity category, themes, top 250 celebrity, presence of a photo (always on home page), possibility to add new tags (could be reserved in detailed view).

o Possibly a map image to help locate
7/ Tags acting as filters on top of the page. New tags can be added and existing removed prompting new selection of events.
On home and other pages, users can do the following (links to be available in top menu)
o Search (location or names)
o Signup, Login and access profile
o See and select sightings (by default on home page) by adding and removing tags
o Navigate to Sightings, Persons and Places pages
o About Us; Terms, Conditions and Policies; Developers; Partners
o Possibly some page suggestions (places, eventsâ¦)

Detailed page should contain more information about the specific sighting with:
- larger pic and map information
- more possibility to share
- options to comment, edit, flag
- see other sightings of the celebrity or at the same location
- see top stories of the same celebrity

Logo With & Without Tagline/URL Needed by leahspiro
We need three things: 1) a logo, 2) the same logo, but with a tagline, and 3) the logo with tagline and url.
The company name is Sports & Entertainment Travel, or SET. The logo should be designed to incorporate the letters (SET) and it must be able to stand alone (without the tagline and url) and still convey the idea of sports and entertainment travel. The logo should not imply that SET caters to any specific sport or entertainment venue in particular. It must be a generalized image.
The logo should not be overly busy or fussy. We like nice clean lines. We have not decided what accent color to use (if any), but would like the main logo to be a bright periwinkle-almost-royal blue.
The business involves selling travel packages to both large groups and individuals. Each package will have a specific focal point -- a particular event (sports and/or entertainment). Generally speaking, the travel arrangements will be comprehensive, meaning the package will include air, hotels, tickets, ground transportation (luxury motor coaches), etc.
Although we will consider all fresh, new ideas, one logo idea we have that we would like to see represented is this:
⢠The abstract representation of an arena entrance (coliseum in Rome? or super-modern one?) with the suggestion of people going through the entrance toward an exciting event.
⢠The stylized âZâ from the Tzell Travel logo (see attachment) should be flipped horizontally so that the long tail ends on the left side instead of the right. This âtailâ could then extend from the âoutsideâ of the arena and then go through the entrance. To get across the idea of people landing/converging, either the long tail could graduate from thick to thin or several strands could converge to one. The âZâ part of the logo on the far right will be within the arena. Our idea is that that âZâ could be modified to turn it into a star, suggesting an exciting event.
PLEASE NOTE: Other logos for this contest do not need to include the Tzell âZâ.

Several taglines are under consideration but we are open to new suggestions as well. Our current favorite taglines are:

The logo dont have to be filled. Does not have to look 100% like a bird, you should just see it. I love the colors on the tail at the end - different colors.
