We require a new logo for our translation agency www.PremierFocus.com. Our company provides translation services into all major languages for a variety of products (documents, website, software, packaging, etc.). We are currently going through a rebranding, which means our name will change to "Premier Focus Translations".
Contest specs:
- Design a new vector logo for us with the name "Premier Focus Translations"
- The word "Translations" needs to stick out/be prominent in the design
- Values that need to be communicated with the logo: Quality, Integrity, Sophistication
- Colours chosen should be in line with the values mentioned above
- Design elements we like: shadows, rounded corners
- We would like you to include an easily recognizable icon or shape. This icon/shape should have something special and unique about it - maybe something that can be a discussion point when networking. iStitched is the name of a new free embroidery community where users can track the progress on their embroidery projects, upload images of their projects and share patterns for their projects (this includes free hand embroidery, cross stitch, machine embroidery, etc).
The target user is a creative, craft person, comfortable with using technology to communicate with friends and acquaintances. The majority of the demographic is women, aged between 20 - 50.
This community's brand personality is contemporary, fast moving and energetic and communication style is friendly and approachable.

Greetings designers!
We are creating a new care instructions label for our jeans. Laundering instructions are kind of dull and boring. I wanted to inject a subtle bit of humour into our label. Next to the laundering symbols (do not bleach, do not iron, tumble dry low, etc) I want to have a symbol that says: don't get your dick caught in the zipper.
It should be a simple line drawing of a penis getting zipped up with an X through it. It needs to be clear enough that you can tell what it is but not too graphic that it's overly offensive.
I have attached some other laundry symbols so you have an idea of the style we're looking for.
It will appear on our care instruction tag in a row with 3 or 4 other laundry symbols. It can only be about 1/4" squared. (Prize: 20)

I'm working with Webjam and we are realizing that design, while innovative 4 years ago, now needs a refresh (okay, some would say a complete overhaul). To this end, we are kicking off a design contest for someone to come up with a modern design for Webjam.
Webjam is a private social network and meant for teams, organizations and individuals with a simple drag-and-drop way of creating a social network for themselves. It proved to be very popular with larger companies wanting to build a social intranet for use inside the company.

For this design contest, we will want the following deliverables:
