Project Description:
My business is a Hairdressing salon. I would like my old logo updated/changed. This new logo needs to be used for:
Business Cards
Shop front Window
Letterhead.
Please provide all file formats necessary for printing.
The business name is "Scizzorworks Hair & Body". I want the name "scizzorworks" to be the main part of the logo. I am unsure if I need to add "hair & body" .Please provide examples with and without this.
I would like the current font changed and the colors changed. I would like my business card to be redesigned but contain all the current information that is on the old card, front and back. I have included an image of my existing business cards for reference.
The logo also needs to be placed on my shop front glass window and it needs to be clear and be seen from a distance. I have also included a photo of my shop front so you can see.
I have also included a photo of my salon. The logo/business card has to match the colors in my salon.
Preferred Colors ..... Black, white, silver, small amount of blue is optional (like the blue seen on houses in the greek islands)

I assume that because this is a website design concept contest that you will need to show each page of the website. But I also assume that you will begin with the home page as the home page is the first page the customer will see when they visit.

We are starting a real estate website "Socal Connect." We are looking for a logo to place on our site and use in our marketing materials. We want the design to communicate the idea of a person or family being connected with a home. We are not set on one idea, but here are some we thought of....2 puzzle pieces with a home on 1 and a family or person on the other being connected. Another thought we had would be the southern part of california in the image, with a home sitting on top of it where northern california would normally be. Like I said we are open to other designs as well. We are not set on anything and look forward to what you come up with. Meaning of name:
1) "Au" represents Gold on periodic table of elements
2) Societé is Society
3) When pronounced, AuSocieté sounds like & means "All Society"
In short, it also means the following things: Gold that Benefits All Society, Better Jewelry for All Society, A Better Jewelry Industry for All Society
I'd like the logo to incorporate as much of the above as possible, but while keeping it not too visually complex.

Draft an Illustration for a Music CD cover by digitalchicperth
Hi everyone,
This competition is about finding an illustration concept for the cover album of an Australian music artist.
The chosen designer/illustrator will then be contracted to produce the illustration ($70 extra budget)
Type of music
» pop-rock, synth based
» targeted to 18-35 (youth / young adults)
» audience is in Australia and is South East Asia (Singapore, Indonesia, etc)
» the first single is called "Hands Raised Up"
Artistic direction = Digital Landscape
» needs to feature a wide landscape (real or imaginery)
» needs to make us feel like we (as humans) are small compare to the greatest of the earth
» needs to have a bit of a futuristic / science-fiction kind of feel (but not too much)
» can be a mix of techniques (photo/3d/single lines, etc.)
» no "hands raised" as such but feel free to feature human representation(s)
Work to be done for this competition:
» a draft drawing (just pencil or other tool you are comfortable with) of the illustration composition.
» an example of the treatment you want to apply to the drawing after the project is awarded. It can be something unrelated from your portfolio but so I can picture more easily your style.
» keep in mind the final format will be square (31.43 cm @ $300 dpi)
» don't spend too much time doing the whole illustration, again, I have an extra budget for that, for after this contest is awarded. It's more of a selection process for now
» do not write anything on the illustration - no title, nothing. This will be done at a later stage.

I would like the logo to look like an old fashioned style logo similar to some of the ones in the attachment. I would like it to be like an emblem style, with some heritage look and feel. I would like a strong font with a clear layout, and maybe with a weathered look and feel. The logo should convey good old fashioned quality and value for money. It should also stand out when used on the window of the shop and on printed material to maybe a distinctive splash of colour within the logo would work. I would like the logo to look like a long-established brand rather than a brand new shop. (Prize: 250)

Photoshop publicity photo with creative background by EricHermanMusic
Hi folks. I would like pieces from the attached pictures (EH1.jpg, EH2.jpg, EH3.jpg) cut out and put together onto a fun background. The picture with the file labeled "EH_what_to_cut.jpg" shows which person to use from each picture. When arranged together, the three of us should be in the same relative positions (i.e., blonde girl on the left, me in the center, dark-haired girl on the right). I would also like the photo images improved as far as the color, lighting/contrast, sharpness, etc.
For the background, keep in mind that we are a kids/family music act, but we perform more rock oriented music with a lot of comedy, so I'm much more interested in something that looks cool and appeals to a wider and older age range of kids, as opposed to something that is more geared toward toddlers or babies.
I've attached the winning pictures (EHTP_promo_02_med.jpg and EH&TPP_PromoPic1_med.jpg) from two previous contests involving my full band as examples of what I like both in terms of the look and coloring of the photo image and also the creative background.
IMPORTANT: For whatever you add as the background, DO NOT ADD LICENSED MATERIAL OF ANY KIND. If you use imagery from Disney or Pixar or Star Wars or anything like that, then I CAN'T USE IT. I need to emphasize that because I hate to see your time and effort wasted. Also, I'm not a fan of musical notes and certain other graphical things like that... but especially musical notes. We are a musical act, but I don't need that implied from imagery. I'm not saying I won't consider your entry if it has musical notes in it, but if you add something like that, it really needs to be done in a very creative way.
Any questions, please let me know. I will try to give feedback as best I can throughout the duration of the contest. And though I can only choose one winner, there is a chance that I will want to offer something as a "runner-up" prize to be able to use other entries that were also great.

2. Trustworthy computer properties
3. Security communication (between programs on different computers)
Attached images show the direction I'm looking for.
1. Computer outline with representation a program running.
2. Computer properties being used by the running program, such as IP address, location, time, MAC address. These are not things entered by the end user.
3. Secure communication (pipeline?) between 2 or 3 computers. Two computers is fine, perhaps easier to get the message across. Attached images happen to show three computers.
