Design a Dream Logo and Business Card by aaronchristou
I need a flat look design logo, one for a dark background and one for a light background.
The Dark background version will be a white logo with transparent background.
I need the logo to fit in nicely with my website design @ dreamwebdesign.com.au, and would like it to be somewhat similar to the "BROOKLYN" logo on there currently but not limited to it. Any design has a chance of winning if it looks nice and fits.
I would prefer some kind of cloud design implemented into the logo (As business name is "DREAM"). However if you think of something that fits nicely with the word "DREAM" that go for it.
The logo text will only have to read "DREAM", but if you do this you can try make one that reads "DREAM DESIGN & MARKETING" just to see if it fits better or not. On the business card you can possibly implement "Design & Marketing" below the "DREAM" logo text and elsewhere.

Design some Icons for Alara Jewelry by babsnoelle
This contest is for 4 white, clean icons, 300 px by 300 px, in TIFF format. The winner of this contest will then become our ongoing icon designer for all the icons and logos we need for the site.
Attached is a mock-up of a UI panel for a "services" page in our website. As you can see, some of these icons are jaggedy. We would like new icons designed for these 4: Gift Registry, Diamond & Gem Cutting, Ear Piercing, Nonprofit. (We are leaving "Antique" jaggedy in this case, because it transmits the concept of antiquity quite well.)
Details:
Gift registry: would like some sort of gift box
Diamond and Gem Cutting: would like some sort of natural crystal form (like currently shown), may optionally ALSO show a cut gem
Ear piercing: do what you like to show an ear being pierced!
