Indesign INTERIOR LAYOUT (only layout) for annual report - classy and simple. by ABenig
Please read through the whole brief.
Summary: This is to be an annual report for a small financial institution. A simple and classy design where white is used primarily on the background with color and graphic accents. No cover page will be needed, this is ONLY interior.
Please look at the template indd file provided for layout along with bleed. Professional look is 100% needed.
These will be printed on FOUR pieces of folded 11inx17in, and the sizes are 8.5in x11in facing pages. So total number of 8.5in x 11in pages is 16.
Documents Included:
Swatches - Please choose one or many of the swatch samples there for your submission colors. Please be ready to change to a different swatch as needed.
Example Reports - these are examples of other businesses annual reports for you to get ideas or inspiration.
Example Templates ZIP- These are indesign templates to give you ideas or inspiration and also to use as an examples of how the layout should be and what I am referring to with page sizes and spreads.
Software: This MUST be InDesign CS6 compatible. I will need all files including fonts. I have a shutterstock subscription, so please use the photos from there as inserts as needed, but give me the numbers of the photos used.
Colors: SWATCHES that have been uploaded are the preferred schemes that will be on a WHITE background along with BLACK text as needed. I will need these in CYMK format and the colors are loaded as presets into the template.
Layout: (One SPREAD means two 8.5in x 11in facing pages. One SINGLE means one 8.5in x 11in page.)
Section 1: 3 pages ( 1 single letter and 1 spread facing letter - 8.5inx11in sized pages - please look at the template's first 3 pages): President's message. I will need space on the side of the first page to put a standing shot of a person. Double or single column is fine. Within the text I would like "pull quotes" in areas to emphasize points. On pages 2 and 3 I would like room for a chart or an infographic.
Section 2: 2 pages (1 spread of facing letter - 8.5inx11in sized pages) - For executive bios and headshots. On the first page should be 4 headshots with room for bios. On the 2nd page there should be 3 headshots with room for bios. At the bottom there should be room for a quote or testimonial or a graph.
Section 3: 2 pages (1 spread facing letter - 8.5inx11in sized pages) - Room for balance sheet and income statements. Please look at the first template indd to see what the numbers will look like.
Section 4: 2 pages (1 spread facing letter - 8.5inx11in sized pages) - A place to put in text and information about what has happened in the year and what will be upcoming. We can definitely make this look more graphic-intensive than the previous section. This can be a creative layout.
Section 5: 4 pages (2 spread facing letter - 8.5inx11in sized pages) - A place to input 10-12 graphs with an area for text on each graph.
Section 6: 3 pages (1 spread facing letter and 1 single letter - 8.5inx11in sized pages) - Pages of services. Operational, Bank Card and Loans. Double columns with room for standing photos on each page.
Notes:
There must be room for the name of the company on each page. It is 37 characters long.
There must be a page number on each page. Each section should be able to be differentiated from another.
I will request small/medium changes up until Wednesday, January 20th and then I will pick the top people and request larger changes. The final choice will be made by January 26th or earlier.

The logo is for a company named Tobio (misspelling of Tobiuo which means 'Flying Fish' in Japanese).

I am looking to hire a freelance for ongoing work to design graphics for me at around $10 per graphic. These graphics will need to be original and unique. Keep in mind that these will go on cell phone cases, so make them suited for that medium. Who ever gets hired will likely do 200+ design for me over time, so this is a long term project if I like your work.

I need a logo for business named CrossPromote. I was thinking of having some something like two arrows on the left and then words CrossPromote to the right of the arrows. Here are a couple things I saw that got me thinking two arrows (going different directions) could represent the idea of cross promoting well:

⢠Make sure we are listed on all major search engines like Google, Yahoo, YP, etc. All those sites that allow you to list your business.
⢠Overall evaluation of our website to make sure it looks good. Evaluate mobile site as well and make recommendations or give examples. (mobile site updates not part of this project, just the recommendations and examples).
Onpage SEO:
Use Yoast or another app to verify onpage SEO with titles, keywords, etc to make sure it is done right.
Offpage SEO:
We have also worked with someone help us with PPC with ads and everything. Need to make sure that is setup and optimized to work the best and the right keywords are chosen. Would give access to PPC account. Also need to verify ads are posting only to specific zip codes, locations, etc.
As you can see, we just need a little bit of everything and while I understand the basics, I will need some help along the way. Not looking for full blown SEO work, but more like evaluation of the site, current SEO, current PPC, and search engine stuff. Just all the basic up front stuff that will get us seen by more people.
