The contest is to take a screenshot of a simple mobile game prototype and create a concept for its graphic design / aesthetic. You're not expected to create the assets themselves, just to illustrate your graphic design concept in a single image showing the game's key elements (as if it were a screenshot from the game). More specific below.
Attached is a screenshot of the prototype. The game is simple:
- The player is the blue circle. Red squares are obstacles.
- Squares move down the screen from top to bottom and at different speeds. They're also rotating at different speeds.
- The circle is always moving left or right. Players tap to flip its direction and avoid the squares.
Here is what's required and not required:
- You must submit at least one image illustrating your concept. Your illustration(s) must include the player, obstacles, current score, and best score. It doesn't need to include a leaderboard icon, settings icon, or button on the bottom.
- Your illustration must be in a portrait orientation.
- You don't need to provide any other graphic assets besides your illustration(s).
- You must use a minimalist, generally flat design aesthetic. Some gradients, subtle shadows, etc., are OK.
- You must indicate the font(s) used.

Waterfront Pub Logo by annestew
Hello!
I'm looking to have a logo designed for the re-brand of our new pub. It's a large pub that overlooks a marina on a lake. We're naming it the Outboard Waterfront Pub (after outboard engines on the boats in the marina.)
It's a fairly modern looking pub. Outside is stucco, inside has a mixture of tile and wood. Huge patio. It's currently known as the Blue Heron Pub, and there are photos online if you google it. It's in Vernon, British Columbia. However, the place will have a slightly different feel than in the photos as we'll be painting the building and changing up the decor.
I would be looking to keep the photoshop/Illustrator files of the winning logo.
